His resume is unimpressive for atg material. His two greatest wins are against mosely and Martinez. Besides that, there's nothing atg about his resume. And neither of those guys will make it so.
Plus... Beating canelo doesn't mean anything right now because canelo is unproven. So is laura.
The only times I see increase in power in later stages of a career are heavy weights. This has more to do with there being no max weight limit and fighters getting heavier.
Frankly, I don't believe anything Ariza says. He is on a mission to discredit roach and PAC. I will say PAC has a tendency to go light in sparring. I have seen videos where PAC loses to a common viewers eyes but in reality, he is punching lightly, working on defense, or just messing around.
All that being said, PAC landed flush on Amir two times. The uppercut would have hurt Amir badly. In a real fight, PAC would not simply wait a couple of seconds after that punch to let Amir recover.
"Most people don't know sh-t about boxing!" R. mayweather.
"Who's next? I got milk baby!" James toney
"It depends on my promoter, bob arum" manny p, the legend
I don't think he needed to say that. I like watching him fight inside. One of the best short range fighters in the sport.
But he did. It seems to me like he felt he needed to do damage control. But there is no real reason why, except to preempt fans and media thinking he is not unbeatable. But there is nothing wrong with being human. I think it shows bad character.
how many people on here actually watched the fight? it was a close fight the cards were wider than they should be but oscar won in the end IMO only whitaker fanboys will cry about this
I definitely think the score cards were wide. That annoyed me. I think cj Roth was one of the judges lol.
Whitaker was a bad style for oscar (even a past prime version) it was all wrong.......i think oscar just hated every moment of being in the ring with him & made his mind up that he would never go towards him again.
Yup. That sums it up exactly.
Now on this site we got

Are you not Floyd fan número uno on this site?
Donaire but a prime Casamayor was a better fighter, more versatile although that isn't saying much.
I was in awe of this woman's body when I saw game of thrones this Sunday. She is absolutely a perfect 10.
Who knows??boxers have sparred with pretty much most of the other boxers sometime in their boxing careers.
While it is true that boxers spar each other often.... I don't see how you could say "most." I don't think paq's habit of regularly sparring fighters that become world champions is typical. It seems to me that Chavez and Ali are the only ones that have regular sparring mates that became champions.
Every fighter spars with someone better than them as that is how you learn. So, everyone was someone's sparring mate at one point.
Although there is a difference between a journeyman/average boxer being used for sparring like Beltran and a prospect like Porter and Khan sparring with Pacquiao. The former "normally" doesn't have any hope to do well and is a designated punching bag of sort, while the latter is using the experience to go up in levels. So, the only name that stands out is Beltran because no one expected him to do well.
What I'm really curious about is if there are other boxers that have sparred with this many champions? Usually, you hear random sparring sessions like Peterson mayweather or Chavez vs. de la Hoya. But pacquiao spars these guys for years. Then they end up being champions. Wondering if there are others.
Maidana to me is the best 140-147 pounder in the game right now. I know I will get bashed for this BUT I am part of the many who think he beat Mayweather twice. Yes, the first fight he won more clearly but the second one he did it in more technical fashion and more clearly IMO.
Bradley is up there though.
May I ask you how you can say Maidana when Amir Khan and Alexander beat him?
Lol a lot of u dudes have never been to a high level boxing gym apparently. Btw Old school Kronk was 10x worse
Please explain bobby. I am trying to understand how kronk is 10x worse.
You brought up the fact that Gatti and Ward were paid, as if that makes it ok. Which makes this argument pretty f*cking dumb. If it's on HBO, it's ok!
I think the point here... Which you obviously don't understand, is that sparring is meant for practice and refining skill. These boxers either have to give up or get knocked out to lose. Factoring in pride of fighters, cameras, and wanting to impress, these fighters are taking a serious risk. The 18year old was much smaller then the English fighter. He could have hurt himself. The bruises on the English guys face in the second match shows significant damage.
People here are saying it is an unprofessional boxing environment and unsafe. There is nothing wrong with that, even if your a fan of an unsafe sport.
There is a saying that the number 1 job of a trainer is to keep their fighter safe. I didn't see that in this video.
For $3.50 you get Showtime and a handjob from Espinoza.
I got show time for 3 bucks after complaining to my sh-t cable company. I haven't been to happy with it. No good movies on demand. I like the show time commentators for boxing.... But I wouldn't pay 15 dollars a month for it.
lol. stop it bro. when did i say demarco was anything special. hes still better than prescott. u saying u think crawford definitely beats broner because of that fight is like saying u think mitchell beats broner because of that fight. it makes no sense. prescott is not that good. u mention his height as if the guy actually fights tall. he has power and he has decent skill. other than that, he fights for about half a fight and he is easy to hit. crawfod looked good, but how anyone says he definitely beats a guy like broner at this point is absurd.
Your not listening to your own argument. Broner hasn't fought anyone. No one. How can you say Broner beats anyone decisively? Prescott is more dangerous then Demarco. Khan certainly knows this. Be reasonable.
uve seen crawford multiple times??? lol. and u still arguing whether prescott is good?? hes crap. broners beaten better fighters. **** antonio demarco is better than bredis prescott. kid is simply just not good. at all.
OK. So Demarco is his best win. Who did Demarco beat?????? Biggest win in his career is Linares. wow... what a hall of fame career. Come on man. Be serious. Don't be so confident that Demarco is a class above Prescott.
Plus style makes fights. I think Prescott has a very good chance because of his height, speed, and power. Broner has not fought anyone like that.
Hard to say since Broner hasn't fought anyone.
At 140:
(Definite) Peterson, Lucas Mattysee, Crawford, Garcia, Bradley (if he moved down), JMM (if he moved down), Khan
(Possible):
Judah - one left uppercut could possibly end Broner's night.
Rios - If Broner can't hurt Rios, then Rios possibly takes it.
Prescott - I see this as a 50/50 fight. Prescott can punch and has reach.
Alvarado - another 50/50 fight. Broner's the better boxer but Alvarado has power.
I guess looking at this in retrospect, I guess I consider Broner very overrated and needs to face at least 2 of these guys before he's on any pound for pound list.
Yup. No Love.
To your point though (although this is a little bit triangle theoryish): Devon Alexander arguably beat a tougher fighter in Juan Urango then anyone Broner has fought. Although Devon sucks to watch, he is a decent win (even though he lost on the scorecards).
Yes. Crawford is better. He moves better, better defense, better foot work. Plus Prescott is a harder fighter and better puncher then anyone Broner has fought. And he boxed circles around him.
