Its not about the weight at which he feels most comfortable though is it? Its about the weight division that suits him best at 140 he can out muscle his opponents and thats the way he's always fought when he stepped up this was not the case and he's not used to that. This makes any fight at 147 a much tougher nights work which is why he'll only step up for a really big fight i.e Mayweather.

Im split on the issue, part of me wants floyd to fight Hatton, think that would finish off a few myths about how Hatton's style is made for him.
But after seeing how that judge scored the fight 115-113 for de la hoya, im not sure he should come back, what went on in Vegas was an attempted robbery, i cant belive Max Kellermann of HBO is one of the only guys i have seen protest that score, it was a disgrace.

To me if he comes back, he has to win his fights very clearly, otherwise he will get screwed.
Don't get me wrong i agree floyd won the fight but because of his defensive style he will have to win his fight by bigger margins to ensure victory especially against a big name guy like oscar. I would like to see him fight hatton cotto all those guys clean up a division and act like he did on jay leno and he will be remembered like he wants to be for sure.

I don't see Mayweather fighting anybody other than DLH in a rematch he obviously doesn't fancy Hatton or Cotto or mosely. His record speaks for itself and i mean this as no disrepect to mayweather but he has been very good at picking the right fights as he moved up the weights. Thats not to say i would pick these fighters to beat Floyd just think maybe he has pickedthe fights to suit his style and maybe missed the ones out that might have given hima tough night.

I wouldn't back anyone to beat him but i would say there are fighters with a better chance of beating him than the ones he fought in the ww division. Oscar did a good job but didn't have the stamina to maintain the pressure for 12 rds and he never really hurt him and i don't think the rematch would be much different so would rather see him fight one of these guys if he fights again.

He has a choice to make right now. It's a hard choice, he can go back to cruiser-weight if he wants to try and get a belt. Or, instead of doing diets going back and fourth from weight to weight. Stay in the heavy weight division and see what he can accomplish. I can't see him going down to cruiser-weight... Winning a belt, then going back up to heavyweight.
That's what he is planning on doing as far as i know. He plans to fight for the CW title as he is mandatory challenger then depending on his weight situation either step up to HW or defend the title once and then step up.

To be fair this is not exactly true by the time he fought in the US he'd started to believe his own hype and once he left Brendon ingle he went all to shit and was not half the fighter he had been previously. He made us Brits look stupid because he was great then when he fought overthere he'd bought what everone told him and just believed his power would get him out of trouble everytime. People say his chin and stamina a questionable; I don't know if this is true, but at his size and his junior-level boxing skills, he needs an iron jaw and endless stamina.
In my opinion there is alot more to him than that. The guy has lost once in his career and that was when he was very inexperienced against a very experienced fighter and he punched himsef out then got knocked out which is why his chin and stamina are questioned. His stamina is an issue at CW because of his weight issues this wont be the same at HW. As a debut at HW it was very impressive against an opponent who at least on paper is decent.
