I am white but i dont hate Khan. But i know lots of people who do because he is asian. I mean imagine if hatton was asian and khan was white!! Hatton would be the most hated boxer of all time!!!!!!!!

Did people really watch the Naz/Barrera fight??? I see so much comment like " He was destroyed" or "He was dominated", "He was outclass" "he was given a boxing lesson"....Makes me think if they really watch the fight.
The fight that Barrera was so scared to get hit, A fight were he was so caution he tied Naz up and stayed on the outside at every opportunity..Even though i dont like Naz he wasnt destroyed or dominated in the barrera fight.
Its so so true what you saying but people will say these things because they did not like him, hell ive even heard he was knocked out clean by barrerra!! I have watched the fight many times and by no means was barrera destroying him he was just over cautious not to go toe to toe otherwise it would have been lights out for MAB
Just the fact you still see threads on hamed years after he last fought tells you something doesnt it? Naz had a crossover appeal whearas Hatton appeals to working class white people.
I think you need to tell this to a blind person. There is a reason calzaghe is Scrutinized and ridiculed, its because god gave some of us sence. Only a deluded person will tell you Calzaghe is a ATG of no 1 p4p. Beating unproven and old shot fighters basically sums up joe c resume, not ONE career defining fight to talk of.
The more successful you get, the more some people hate you. Some people get more bitter than others. I remember Ali and Hagler getting stick, and nowhere near the credit they deserved. Larry Holmes too...
For eg, look at all the Calzaghe threads on here now. The more the better.
If mayweather comes back, you'll see hate threads of him multiply - esp. if he wins. Basically, the more the hatred, the more successul you are generally. Remember the stick and boos Eubank got in the early 90's. lol. :crazy:
Its nothing to do with being a hater, joe is just not as good as the undefeated record suggest. He did not fight the best in his era and he will always be remebered for that amongst true boxing fans. Beating a old Hopkins and super shot Roy Jones is not exactly career defining. If you really look at it Joe is the welsh Sven ottke.
A few other points, Ok the other notable Undefeated fighter who is much mentioned on Boxing scence in Money May, Ok maybe he should have had a few more fights with the usual suspects(marg,williams cotto etc) however im sure many of you hand on heart know floyd has the tools to defeat these fighters, Question is can joe beat a prime jones? Hopkins? Dawson? i have my doubts.

The thing was anybody at that time would have been IN the shadows of Naz, He had this aura about him that makes people stop doing whatever they were doing.
Naz once went to a televised snooker game and the moment he came in everything stopped, One of the snooker players still blamed him till today for causing him to lose concentration...Even Mayweather was in the shadows of Naz thats why he wanted Naz to fight him.
i remember that snooker match...naz said to the snooker player(forgot his name) to sit ringside at his next fight and see if he (naz) gets distracted lol
younger prospect???????????? aint calzaghe older then naz? Naz was Mr BoX office, To this day no boxer brings the same excitement. Joe is a decent fighter but he aint got the appeal the prince had.
