Petition to remove judge C.J. Ross

I think this is great news. Boxing has been able to get away with so much crap for so long that it really hurts what is a great sport. Between all of the major organizations (WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF etc.) and all the different promoters with a lot of pull there is nobody policing the entire sport. There is no one commissioner or one governing body. There are too many people and too many organizations in boxing and that makes everyone corrupt as it all comes down to who is paying who. CJ Ross whether it be incompetence or corruption, has screwed up major fights time and time again. I would still urge people to keep signing petitions and still keep kicking up dust because it keeps the pressure on the NAC and it let's the know that the fans are fed up. As I said in a previous post, it all boils down to money and once people start to have their profit affected they will tighten up the ship real quick. There are a lot of people who aren't real big into boxing but still watch Mayweather or Pacquiao fights because people have parties for those kind of fights and what not, and when those people watch the fight and see CJ Ross screw up the score card those are the same people that will say, "I am done with boxing. This is why I don't like it". That has to stop, because it hurts the sport. I'm glad CJ Ross is taking a leave of absence and I'm glad Keith Kizer is at least aware of the situation, still though I urge fans to keep signing petitions and keep kicking up dust for hopefully things keep moving in the right direction like they seem to be with this news.

CJ ROSS indefinite leave of absence from scoring fights.. Just saw the news on bleachers report and also it is reported on @stevecarprj twitter page Boxing judge C.J. Ross takes a self-imposed indefinite leave of absence from working fights. Also NAC Ex. Dir. Keith Kizer said there will be a mandatory seminar for all NV judges to attend in Oct. or Nov. in Vegas. and Brady said he talked to @GovSandoval and that he apologized to the Gov. for any embarrassment the judging caused for the state. Discuss...

I'd support it but am too lazy to sign up Yeah, I'm with you. Those petitions don't mean anything anyway. When it's electronic signatures, it could be any number of people... or just one person doing it over and over and over. They make you feel good and empowered to sign, but no lawmaker or bureaucrat really gives a damn about them. I think C.J. Ross is an embarrassment but I would imagine the NSAC would review and find that for every horrible call, she's made 10 decent calls and simply tell her to lay low for a year or so.

Whether that being a judge favoring the wrong fighter, the ref stopping the fight too early, the promoter paying off another fighter to take the hit or the mob ...I would not be surprised if she IS NOT removed with all the corruption going on. Lmao shell be back to judge Floyd Or Mannys next big fight in Vegas. Too many politics/power game in the fight game $$$ I agree with you, but that's why the fans have to unite. If we aren't buying tickets to fights and tuning in every Saturday night to watch then nobody is making money. The fighters dont make money, the promoters dont make money, the networks dont make money and the commissions and suits that are behind the scenes dont make money.... All of the money that these people are making is money that we are giving them by watching fights, buying tickets and funding the machine. Not that any of us want to boycott boxing, but if the threat of it is there that is a threat of the machine not making money and at that point you best believe CJ Ross will get fired and they will clean their act up... Example being, if the fans were able to unite and boycott Mayweather/Canelo and that fight did low PPV numbers because of that and they knew the reason the PPV was boycotted is because of corrupt judging then that **** would get fixed ASAP. Keith Kizer doesn't give a **** when a few pissed off people complain, but the second that the paying consumers start to boycott that is when things will change because then HBO and Showtime and Golden Boy and Top Rank and Money Mayweather and Ole Man Arum and Oscar and etc etc etc start losing money and THAT is when they will take action. Thats why 1/1/2014 is the date I listed on there. Let's get as many people as possible to sign this thing and spread the word as much as possible.... and if HBO or Showtime end up drawing a dog **** rating for their first telecast after 1/1/2014 because the entire community of boxing fans is pissed off then they will be forced to clean their act up.

She is not going anywhere with kizer still up her ass. First thing he did was run to her defense.

She had Mares/Agbeko a draw at 113-113 Molina/Lara a draw at 115-115 Khan over Maidana 114-111 Holt over Tackie 95-95 (other 2 had it 98-92, I didn't see the fight) Mares-Agbeko 1 and Khan vs Maidana were close fights. I thought Agbeko should have won if it weren't for the knockdown and low blow and Khan clearly won. The Bradley-Pacquiao and Floyd-Canelo scores were terrible, she shouldn't be allowed to judge Championship and high profile bouts anymore.

floyd fans crack me up !!!!!! when shes did it to manny , not only did most floyd fans defend her scoring they agreed with it !!!! LMAO !!!! and some floyd fans scored the fight exactly like she did !!! but now that she did it to floyd what she did is now deemed to be unacceptable !!!!!! hah hhahaha !!! i swear floyd fans expose there hypococies every day !!!!!!! It doesn't matter what some A holes did. She pulled this sh*t twice and needs to go now. She's obviously not competent as a judge or is being paid off. Just do the right thing for our sport and sign it.

Yeah she has been soooo bad that I'm not even sure it's corruption. If she was just bad in all the major PPVs I'd say maybe someone is paying her off, but the fact that she so routinely screws up everything I am wondering if she is just flat out blind and clueless.

The real story is that this isn't naturally being taken care of (her getting the boot), and that we have to resort to this. Something's up. She has proven she is either incompetent or corrupt, and yet, here she is again. I agree that it is ridiculous that fans have to resort to this, but unfortunately it is what it is. I'm sure Keith Kizer and the whole commission has heard the complaints before. The fact that she remains employed is alarming and tells me there is probably some behind the scenes funny business going on... The way I look at it though, there is one thing that can actually force change and that is money. If they start to lose viewership then the networks and promoters lose money and as soon as that happens you best believe CJ Ross will be out of work... I put a threat of a viewer boycott of ALL boxing telecasts starting January 1st, 2014. Obviously I dont want it to have to come to that, but hopefully if we got enough signatures attached to the threat of a viewership boycott by the time Jan 1st 2014 rolls around maybe that will force their hand. I urge everyone to sign this and report the link on your facebooks and twitters and everything else. I was able to find the website for the Nevada Athletic Commission including phone numbers and emails for their members so lets blow this thing up!!
