Im not mexican but i gotta disagree with you here. If you've ever boxed and ever been low blowed you would know that one good low blow could take your legs out for the rest of the fight. The pain in your nuts might go away in five minutes but it has an effect on your whole body for a whole lot longer. Ive always thought de la hoya was a little bitch but he beat tito that fight. He wasnt runnin the whole fight he probably just got tired from whoopin tito's ass for around 8 to 9 rounds. People say cotto ran maybe the last two rounds he was trying to stay away but he whooped mosleys ass. The article has a lot of good arguments but to say "guarantee" when referring to boxing is a big no no. One punch can literally be the difference of life and death. In boxing nothing is guaranteed. I was one of those people 5 years ago telling everybody that iverson wasn't as good as everyone thought he was and that once he lost his speed he wouldnt put up 30. I was obviously wrong since he still does put up crazy numbers. Roy jones three losses in this decade came from coming down in weight too quick. Roy jones has always been all muscle and muscle weight is the hardest to lose. Losing as much as he did in that short period of time caused him to lose. Im a fan of cotto's but I'm not gonna have any high hopes for him until he picks up a legit trainer. To be honest I would like to see him get emanuel steward. Paulie didn't like the decision but most boxers have a big heart and as long as they can stay standing they will. Paulie shouldnt have to take punishment until he gets knocked out cold and have to be carried away in a stretcher. We already saw that happening and wouldn't want to see it again. the reason why mma is getting more popular is because of strikers coming into the game, who are some of the best strikers? boxers. Most guys in mma are training in boxing more and more now because they know it will give them a huge advantage. Boxing is one of the most practical sports and thats why im a huge fan of it. Im also a fan of mma and to call it mmgay is ridiculous, you might as well call a street fight gay too because most of those end up on the ground
why do people always say that street fights end up on the ground. Ive never seen a street fight get on the ground and if i would i would break it a part cuz its a fight not a battle of who can get in 69 faster. Neither boxing nor mma is like a street fight. A street fight only last a couple of seconds with two people going all out on each other with no refs or rules trying to knock each other out as quickly as possible. the most i ever saw a street fight last was 3 minutes.
anyway this isn't good in any way for cotto. Either he sucks it up and trains with his uncle which will be a hassle throughout training camp cuz i doubt they are going to be able to put this behind them. Or he gets a new trainer which is a little too late to being doing. IF you get a new trainer u get him be4 a fight is put together so that u can get accustomed to him and decide whether he is right for you. anyway it goes it sux.
