Here are two commentators from ESPN talking about boxing. I don't know anything about these two individuals but I know that they don't know a single thing about boxing. Outside of Brian Kenny, Dan Rafael, Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas, no one at this network have any understanding of boxing.
Here's a suggestion: Why not mandate your commentators/analysts to learn about the subjects they must discuss.
Boxing has been out of touch with the mainstream for quite a while and as ignorant as those TV Hosts are a lot of the blame goes to boxing itself.
Yeah, out of touch is about right. Very little mainstream coverage has much to do with it too. Although, I think the increase in TV and cable channels and distractions has a lot to do with it is as well.
People are bombarded with entertainment from virtually every direction these days and boxing happens to be a small part of that niche.

It pretty much follows the same pattern as those folks who just like to comment on fights with incomplete knowledge about the sport and the fighters. Sometimes it makes for a good laugh.
It just makes it interesting to hear on what they base their opinions.
More revealing is why they base their opinions that way.
It's obvious they don't follow boxing religiously.
that one mother ****er talking with the blonde girl, i want to box that ******. i'd want three rounds.
round 1: i wouldn't throw a punch and let him see just how little he knows about the sport.
round 2: i wouldn't do anything but bang the body
round 3: i'd put that clown to sleep
Specially the last two. Wow. Those last two.
I would love to see Cotto, Pac, HAGLER, Hearns or Leonard beat up on that guy.
In fact, I would love Pac to do it, because he´s the smaller one.
Dude thinks that just because Pac is not tall he´s a p*ssy.

I know for a fact the world is full of ignorants, but some things still amaze me.
ill forgive michelle beadle cuz i got a thing for that b1tch but that ****er next to her is the most annoying piece of sh1t ive ever heard talk on a sports show. Dude would probably enjoy havin lesnar fist his asshole. he has no idea what he talks about when discussing any sport.
This is why athletes like Ocho rip on these guys themselves. I mean some of these guys diss lebron james and adrian peterson pff I bet ocho is hyped about the fight.
You ducked my question...you think you Floyd Mayweather or sumtin? :lol1:
Pac or Cotto...and how...
Ehem! Correction, it should be, "You Mayweathered my question"...
The first 2 segments didn't really bother me, but those last pieces of shit made me want to urk. Because of idiots like that with bad taste, is why boxing will have an uphill battle in the mainstream.
Those piece of shit fags then ask why we talk shit about mmgay, look at the quote they pick from twitter. I'm now gonna have to shit on mmgay more. **** them homos.
I'm working on it lol. I won't be at the fight unfortunately, lots of stuff going on in Jersey to keep me busy lol.

These people need to die.
Very sad indeed that these fools are boasting about their ignorance on TV and getting paid for it.
