you'll be sorry mr. arum, playing with your "pets" like this. boxing world would again take a hell of a shocker when PACMAN knocks EL TERRIBLE in the canvass and his lustruous boxing career would end up "terrible!!!". then you'll end up wrecked!!!
Pacquiao better be cafeful about EM's versatility, wile and ability to take a punch...
I still see Manny via late KO, otherwise, if he gets too reckless, EM will see a good opening and might send Manny's gameplan backfire.
he may have received a number of punches and yet stood as the victor, but has El Terrible ever taken a real punch? a single power punch? roy jones could be the biggest example.the reality in boxing: the best boxer is always at risk to the best puncher. Pacman will knock Morales out in the 6th...

Morales' steel chin will "melt" on March 19!!! Pacman's flaming punching power will definitely do the job, after which Morales will be the one to be compared to the one who hailed himself "Prince"...

see Pacman as an explosive fighter with an awkward style just like Ricardo Mayorga. They both beat the best at a lighter weight but when Mayorga went up to fight Trinidad there was just no competition against the bigger man. Will Pacman have the same fate - we'll just have to wait and see.
i think PACMAN cant be compared to very sluggish and boastful Mayorga. Power wise, they could be, but the boxing style, i think not. Manny is not awkward, just becoz he's a southpaw. Speed, definitely incomparable. But i do hope he does not attain Mayorga's fate. I feel Manny will win by KO. and im betting on it.
How competitive will Pac or Morales be if they move up in weight and challenge Corrales, Castillo, Julio Diaz, Freitas or Casamayor.
i dont know with Morales. but i think pacquiao would just remain strong in the featherweight division and will not move up to lightweight. the superfeatherweight division is not that very big at all considering morales has already beaten its champ last yr. but lightweight would be tough.
After hearing from both enough times, I think it's safe to say, both fighters believe something about the other that is not true and will most likely base most of their attacks on it.
Manny believes Morales is going to be slow and has slowed down after the last Barrera fight. Let's face it, we all know Morales was the heavier guy and really it wasn't his night. He certainly won't make the same mistake again by coming in over weight and has already talked about how he's improved his speed. This might be a shocker for Manny if Manny is heavily going with the fact that Morales is slow as he's talked about in interviews.
Morales believes Manny is 1 dimensional due to his Marquez fight. If he truely believes Manny is going to be only throwing the left hand on fight night, it's going to be a painful awakening because I can guarantee you, he's going to be coming out with all guns blazing. We will probably see more right hand use in this fight than Manny has ever shown in any of his fights. Yeah Manny mostly used his right jab to setup his left in his past fights though with all the new hooks and tricks Roach and Manny have been working on, his right hand may be as deadly as the left which could catch Morales completely off guard.
Boy, doesn't this all make for a great fight :D :boxing: :boxing: :boxing:
i think it would be foolish to say that both camps are unaware or ignorant of the matter. in a fight most especially in a war, you should not only have one plan, there are plans B or C. otherwise you'll end up questioning "Where did i go wrong?". definitely, both camps have scouted and did research on most if not all possible occurrences. In this fight, it would only matter on whose camp worked on their foe's weaknesses and the boxer whose condition proves more and whose heart hungers more.
i think the only boxer at 140 that has a chance of stopping Tszyu's reign is Floyd. but that's just a chance. at this point i think Tszyu's the toughest at 140. forget about Gatti. he's just a market for boxing and nothing more. he can punch but he's not making tough fights.
Yeah, I forgot.. lol Pacquaio is being really hyped up right now.
im betting 4 manny. but with all the news putting him up like he's the best most perfect fighter in the world, im a bit worried. i like manny being the underdog coz i want him to shock the whole of the fuckin boxing community that the man who knocks people out is the man who humbles in greatness...
nonetheless, manny good luck! give the biggest career changing punch of your life!
nice dream. who's "moralles" anyway? hey i've got something 2 tell. on march 19 a superbout happens between Manny Pacquiao and Erik Morales, and its not the "Moralles" in your dream. I've also dreamt about it, though it was kinda short. Erik Morales, bloodied and slaughtered by Pacman on the third round. whew that was short! i hope you dont dream on this coz it will only turnout as a nightmare. keep dreaming dude!
its already his plan to go to lightweight no matter what. i think his getting tired of barrera. in case he wins over manny, hopefully not, its only a matter of showing that he beat the man(Pacman) who beat the man(Barrera). and nothing more. his loss would only be a personal degredation, but his career will still push through, becoz of fuckin Bob Arum. o yeah manny will definitely climb though the rankings...
i admit i am a big PACMAN fan but b4, and up to now, i am still and also a big fan of El Terrible. as the fight gets near, i feel that i should only support one of these great boxers. i respect and admire morales but definitely, more than just being a Filipino, my heart is for manny. it will be a tough fight. to end the fight in TKO would be my biggest wish for the man but nonetheless just the win would suffice my emptiness. i'm hoping 4 da best!!! good luck manny!
Trinidad or Taylor would beat Hopkins if they fought now in my opinion. That would be a fight I would want to see Trinidad vs Taylor. Taylor being young might establish himself as the new middleweight longterm champ.
nah i think taylor isnt yet ripe to annihilate the exectutioner. he could win with a lucky punch in their up coming fight, but i think he will be outboxed, most could be a KO, by bernard. i think tito is the best middleweight and the most promising to take bernards place. but there's still winky!
no way can gatti defeat floyd. but like tarver and other lucky strong punchers, gatti's win could only be by a blindsided punch. but floyd isn't chinny anyway...
but it's part of the game of boxing, emotions are what's driving these fighters to give it all. for fame and glory, and for money! it's a hard debate on who's better that's why i voted for undecided!
passion is totally different from emotion... emotions r much more confusing for fighters especially when they are carried by it. passion is what that's firing u up. becoming emotional could be more of a decrement than an increment. those who fight with passion r those who gets a nice receiving end.
But his Philippine trainer disagreed.
man could you just stop this fuckin thing. pacman lost to el terrible, that's it! no excuses this time for pac. just w8 for the rematch, ok.
I really dont want to see Morales and Barrera go at it again. A trilogy is awsome but i think 4 is overkill. Pac vs Morales II would just be a loss for Manny. Yeah Manny can try harder and train harder, but i dont think he can bean Morales because Morales is just an outstanding boxer who can trade with the best in his class. Ill go with Barrera vs Pacquiao, because barrera has something to prove and i think Manny knows alot of people think it was just a bad day for barrera.
nice pick. thats really worth watching. i also think barrera had an off-night against manny, but nonetheless i think PAC can do the same brutalizing damage next time.
i agree on marales as a bigger man vs manny. 2 more superfeather fights for manny and i think he'll be ready for morales.
it will be my pick!
he could have been bothered concerning some issues. but bottom line was morales was the true winner of that fight, and from what i saw, i think he wasn't even giving his all in that fight. if pac really wants to win, and i mean win big against el terrible, refrain from all those money talks and distractions. you've got the skill and power, focus on boxing, enhance and practice very well. and i believe nxt time, morales would call for his 2nd epic trilogy
morales is the better boxer no doubt about it. and lossing to MAB does not make him the lesser fighter. he was fighting barrera because of hatred. so he was just focus to annihilate barrera, ruining his game plan. i think he has the more passion as the boxer. i can already see him as an all-time great.
i was watching this afternoon the fight of tito and mayorga and im now convinced tito will win the fight against winky. i think it will go the distance but end in a KO. i wanted wright to win, but i also want tito to once again fight the executioner one last time to prove them all wrong.
my fearless forecast: Pacman would knock El Terrible out in 8 rounds. If this does not happen, Morales wins by decision. and a rematch is set off soon....
Absolutely! i had a bet with my brother while watching the fight. he was for castillo and i for freaky diego... and when diego was floored once....twice... oh my goodness! damn! then i joked on saying that diego will still win by a lucky KO punch, hahahaha....
and what the heck happened? oh man i can't believe what im seeing... i punched my brother so hard seeing castillo being KOed by the one already Koed! goodness.... definitely a Fight of the Year winner!!! astonishing me even more from my first bet PAc-Morales! hope upcoming fights (Trinidad-Wright , Mayweather-Gatti, Hopkins-Taylor) would be another exhilirating one!!!
this is somewhat dissappointing, although it is something that favors the manny better. the length of his training will be the biggest constraint, so that move to fight morales instead is quite a nice pick. i've been waiting for the pacquiao-marquez rematch, so when i read this, i was really pissed off. the chance to know who really is better between these 2 excellent boxers, ahh, i think we will be waiting for it for a while. damn that "money thing"!!! nonetheless, the pacquiao-morales blockbuster is something to watch for.
