Pacquiao sharp in workout! By Karl Freitag A huge media turnout were on hand for Manny Pacquiao media day at the Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California. Pacquiao looked explosive in his workout, but you won't be seeing it on the evening news. All cameras were required to be turned off while Pacquiao sparred with Jose Armando Santa Cruz. "There's too many people in my gym," Roach told Fightnews.com. Freddie said that Manny is currently at 129 pounds and has lost none of his speed at the higher weight. Pacquiao's last day of sparring will be on Monday, at which point Team Pacquiao will drive from L.A. into Las Vegas. His March 19 PPV opponent Erik Morales will be arriving in Las Vegas by jet from Mexico on Tuesday. (More to come) Tuesday, March 8 2005

Yeah, I forgot.. lol Pacquaio is being really hyped up right now. im betting 4 manny. but with all the news putting him up like he's the best most perfect fighter in the world, im a bit worried. i like manny being the underdog coz i want him to shock the whole of the fuckin boxing community that the man who knocks people out is the man who humbles in greatness... nonetheless, manny good luck! give the biggest career changing punch of your life!

i cant wait to see what all the morales fans do when morales is on the canvas there will be controversy no matter what if pacman wins, morales got robbed or had a bad night if pacman Knocks out Morales which he will do, then people will say Morales got caught with a "lucky" punch... I just wanna see what happens the day after the fight on boxingscene, there will prolly be a riot nobody admits he losses in a boxing match.... just bad luck and some other excuses, remember barrera when he lost to manny?

What you talking about man, I posted not to long ago that he was running 11 kilometers a day at 12,000 feet in 1 hour and 15 mins and was finishing up strong and energized in his workout. Yeah he needs it in order for him to pass Round 1 to 5. LOL :D

are you saying MAB is not a skilled defensive fighter? Not at all man. Haha I wasn't even thinking of Barrera as a fighter at that moment when I typed it up. Just typed it outta my head as a funny thing, nothing towards Barrera himself. If anything I'm mocking Manny for the socks issue! :D

You think Manny would listen anyways? He might take what the guy says into consideration though he wouldn't do WHAT BARRERA would tell him for 2 reasons. 1.) He knows he whooped Barrera, a lot of help he needs from him. 2.) If he won based on Barrera's advice, it wouldn't feel as complete as winning with Roach and his own methods. It's like a cheating feeling almost. Either way I wouldn't trust it! Hyped up or not Erik better be ready on the 19th. I hope so, did anyone hear some shit about how Barrera or his people went to Pac's gym to give him advice on Erik and to tell him he hopes he beats Erik so they can have a rematch? I lost respect for him after that, why don't he fight JMM and the winner of the EM vs MP fight goes up against the winner of JMM vs MAB, that would be some good shit. I got Erik winning by late round stoppage(8th or 9th). That info was retracted and Barerra is actually rooting for Morales, being mexican and all
