He beat a one-legged old Martinez. 2) Mosley and De La Hoya were way past their primes. Please do not even say anything positive about Maidana, Guerrero and Ortiz, the last two are scrubs and Maidana is ok and he actually gave Floyd a really good fight the first fight. 3) I did not mention Pacquiao he is irrelevant to the conversation Finally, I am an objective person and all in all I like Mayweather (as a boxer obviously) I just think that he could have done more. He fooled the masses easily by selectively choosing the right boxers and MORE IMPORTANTLY ALL AT THE RIGHT TIME. He also does not have enough in their prime black fighters for me to put him in the top 5. He will never be TBE, impossible. He was a solid boxer whose management team carefully selected his opposition. Nonetheless is a very good boxer but one who should have taken more chances. If his last two fights are Andrade and Golovkin, win or lose I will gain a lot of respect for Floyd. The funny thing is I think he beats Golovkin quite easily and coin flip against Boo Boo. Greatness for me is defined by fighting the most challenging opposition at the most appropriate time. You see many people here swear at me call be bad names but I have not done this once. I believe that in all walks of life man needs challenges and Floyd took the path of least resistance. He won against the opposition he faced so kudos, respect, but he could have challenged himself more I would have respected him much more.

After the consensus is formed and Floyd is deemed the winner in a fabulous display of boxing and "whooping" Pacman we are now in the midst of greatness but it's all an illusion. You my friend are used instrumentally to disseminate the illusion that Floyd whooped the Pacman completing the designed plan from above Haymon (most likely those controlling Haymon). Mancini is right. I remember that era very well. Leonard was a complete fighter who could take your head off. Mayweather has never had to face guys who came in to try to murder him like Leonard, Hearns, Duran and Hagler would have done. To me Floyd is a great fighter but God damn it there is always something with his fights catch weight, fighting a guy over his prime, making a guy not wear a particular gloves, big ring, dehydration clauses, fighting only in Las Vegas knowing he brings millions in so obviously he will get the benefit of the doubt in close decisions. You mentioned Castillo but he lost the first fight. So we don't have to debate that it.
