vasquez vs marquez 2, it was a great fight, techniche, huevos, courage, power,speed, both guys get rocked a couple of times, beutiful boxing, non stop action.
also JMM vs barrera kind of the same, very good fight. boxing at its best
yeah its great when you get to train with pros, i have trained wit castillo and arce at the same time, castillo is more of a quiet guy. arce is a crazy f*cker he is so funny
they only wish to be like mexico, this world cup is bullshit, they have two of the best fighters from the philippines against two mexicans that they are good but not great, put penalosa and bautista against rafa marquez or israel vasquez and you will see the diference. but actually i do like watching pinoys fights, they give a good show.
im mexican and the british are the best crowd, singing song during the fight and all they put a good athmosphere, and they fly over the world jsut to the fight. But we gotta admit the largest basefan that goes to fights on USA are the mexicans , withouth us boxing would be death.

here are some pretty good punches, i like the robinson one on fullmer because of the fast reaction like it was just natural, and the hearns on duran is devasting.
i think its goign to be a good fight, cotto is going to win by pressuring and body shots, only problem is if in one of those flourries zab decides to throw the left quickly and rock cotto. anyway if he does i think cotto gets up and keep the pressure on.
i think he didnt do it in an offensive way, i think he was trying to gain the mexican public, he was very serious, if he had come out with a smile in his face and doing faces it would be another story. but i think he does like mexico, i have a photo of him with jorge arce both with sombreros charros.

my trainer pisses me off all the time cause he thinks a hook HAS to have your fist horizontal,like palm down and i dont agree....neither way is wrong i think its how you feel right..i jus wanna show my mate that punch cause thats a good example of a left hook with a vertical fist
i had the same problem with my trainers, but i never felt confortable with the horizontal, since my first trainer teached me vertical.
well, they werent making any money because no one buyed a ppv, all mexicans had dish of directv pirata, and people who hadnt just stopped watching the fights, so the common tv channels tv azteca and televisa started showing the fights for free. it started this year and since then boxing audience has been growing a lot in mexico. 25 millions of mexicans watched barrera vs marquez, and 40 millions mexicans watched the paquiao vs solis fight but not for solis, they watched it because of el travieso arce.
the punch of a boxer is harder than MMA, a lot harder, and if they used smaller gloves i think it would be a lot of people that would be marked for life, look at wilfredo gomez, he cant even talk, look at burgos the last guy darnichyan (i dont know if its spelled correctly) he was in a coma, with smaller gloves there would be a lot of more boxers dead or crazy.
and another thing, we dont have to save boxing. IT IS NOT DYING! come to mexico and youll know that boxing is just fine, actually here it has been getting bigger this year.
its true, when people realize that they are not gonna make it in boxing start doing MMA, learning to wrestle is easier than learning to box.
i would like to see cintron do it, with those gloves he could knock out anybody there, and if he has some wrestling bacground he could use it to stay on his feet.
