Doesn't anybody think this is a great boxing matchup ? !!!!!
The fast, slick and powerful Zab Judah who has a possible suspect chin
against the tough, accurate and unbeaten Miguel Angel Cotto who also
has a possible suspect chin. Zab is hungry to prove he has what it takes
folowing his recent defeats to Carlos Baldomir and Floyd Mayweather &
Miguel is hungry to prove that he's among the elite fighters of the division
while retaining his impressive unbeaten record. Its going to be a war IMO
I see Judah having success early with his powershots but for Cotto to take
over from round 5 onwards, outhustling Judah who will be on the backfoot.
Don't see a ko like many have predicted, even though both may get hurt bad.
Cotto doesn't have the footspeed to keep up with Zab. Floyd was able to keep up with him and break him down to the body. I don't see Cotto being anywhere fleet of foot enough to follow Zab and land effectively.
Zab by KO
Cotto dont have the footspeed but Baldomirs does?:nonono:
This is a toss up fight for me but i am thinking Zab. Cotto is gonna get tagged by Judah and if he is hurt Zab can finish him. I have a feeling Cotto chin will not hold up. If it does after the first 3 or 4 rounds Judah will be in trouble. Peace

Cant wait for this fight I'm going with Cotto by K.o, If Judah had problems with baldomir then he's in for a looong night against the Boricua! I also want to see the undercard with Soto vs B.Paquiao which I also think will end in a K.O and then I think Chavez Jr fights that last guy to beat his dad, how bad ass is that he gets revenge on the man that beat his dad you dont really see that to much in boxing, what a great night of boxing.
In this one, both fighters have enough power to hurt the other. But the thing is, Zab knows this is a "last chance" kind of thing. If he wins, he is in the mix for all the division titleshots - which means more belts and even more money. With that kind of motivation, I have my doubts that Cotto has much more than a "punchers chance" against Judah.
Cotto is a decent fighter, but he has never faced the "top tier" kind of fighter that Zab is. Cotto is tailor made for Judah, not particularly fast, comes in the front door all night, and telegraphs his punches. Sure, he has good power in his left, but I think Judah has the same power, maybe even more. And Judah is fast - REALLY fast.
I think that if Zab stays focused round by round, he not only beats Cotto - he KO's him....
And so was Zoo and Baldi...
Zab has the skills to pull a mayweather and outrun/"outpoint" Cotto, but he is also very combative and will take risks to hurt Cotto, during which he will get KTFO from a marginally powerful shot to the glass jaw.
Question is, will Zab be willing to trade with Cotto, non punchers like Baldi and Spinks were able to hurt Zab, Cotto's punches are a lot harder.

my brothers from other mothers.
cotto wins this matchup on the cards. it'll be hard to take zab out of there but for anyone thinking of putting money on zab, D O N T.
I think Judah might upset Cotto here....hes got the fastes hands in the division and can hit. Since Cotto got dropped by Torres his team has put him against runners w/no power.i take it cottos favourite
i think cotto can get past judah, the early rounds will be when something bad happens, if it's gonna happen. as long as cotto stays away from sugar shane mosley, and pbf ( retired ) he'll probably stay undefeated. mosley has cotto's number, bad
I'm looking forward to this fight. I can see this being an interesting fight with some drama. It can go either way but I see cotto prevailing late in the fight with maybe a KO.

i think its goign to be a good fight, cotto is going to win by pressuring and body shots, only problem is if in one of those flourries zab decides to throw the left quickly and rock cotto. anyway if he does i think cotto gets up and keep the pressure on.
Judah definately has the power to hurt Cotto bad. its gonna be interesting

I just dont think Judah is going to be able to take the pressure in the later rounds. Rounds 1-8 might be ugly for Cotto, but when he lands those one or two body shots a round he will slowly break Zab down. I think hes going to win by stoppage in the 11th while being down on the cards.
I don't know.
Judah seemed very discouraged when Mayweather kept the pressure up after getting hit.
Judah wants to know that his punches have effect.

I'm watching the Judah/Mayweather fight right now and it's making me think twice about my original choice.
Two things Judah hates more than anything: Getting hit to the body and being pressured.
The reason I still give Judah a chance is because Cotto is going to be exposing himself to alot of shots to get to Judah's stomach...will he be able to take those shots will be the deciding factor in the fight.
