cotto-judah , cause im a big fan of both fighters & it was an exciting fight with cotto getting rocked 2 or 3 times but coming back and knocking judah out!
What he said!
Williams vs. Margarito, because Paul is my favorite fighter, and it was the fight that put his name among the elite at 147. It had lots of drama in the late rounds when Tony started to pressure him harder. And greatest of all, he responded to his worst round with one of his best to save himself from a painful draw.
Since this is being rebirthed...
Taylor-Pavlik was a great fight, simply because of the drama of it.
Cotto-Judah ranks up there, I STILL continually watch the footage of the first round when Judah uppercuts Cotto, cause it's turned into one of my favorite punches, even though he didn't Ko or knock him down it was NUTS.
Yeah I thought this fight might come up now on this thread, the year just keeps getting better.
It doesn't have to be a fight of the year candidate, but what was your favorite fight so far this year? And give a reason if you can.
MIJARES-ARCE fight. Because of the sportsmanship, humility and they're both good natured Happy Warriors.
I'm a little surprised that there aren't more people that mention the Vazquez-Marquez fight. It was a good fight.
Vasquez - Marquez did it for me. That's my fave. Honourable mentions for Earl Katsidis and Pavlik - Miranda.
Cotto vs Judah....I was there that night & it was an exciting crowd. There was blood, knockdowns & a KO at the end of it all. What more can you ask for.
Barrerra vs Jaun Marquaz from what i watching right now.
It got every combination of pressuring, brawling, boxing and counter punching.
Two good fast pace counter puncher makes the brawl very intersting and it was a techincal fight too
Pavlik vs Miranda, seeing miranda taking a beating after all the crap he was talking before the fight was brilliant.
Katsidis vs amonsot is a close second.
