to be honest im pretty disapointed how the fight turned, got my laptop connented to the widescreen, a nice glass of wine, was looking for an exciting fight.
dont blame vit though... i mean what can you do?
Maybe for the very short term Burner but none of those fights you presented that could happen will as Haye is going to walk away from the sport shortly. The Stability of Wlad's dominance is better for the division than some brief intrigue.
spot on, wlads dominance has be long missed since the days of lewis, wlad will probably not retire in a while, is allways prepared and fights the best of the bunch as long as they are willing to fight him.
wlad vs adamek would be nice if vk somehow loses, wlad vs povetkin, arreola, boytsov would also be great matchups in near future.
Haye doesnt follow his words, has pulled out of fights and fought useless competition like audley harrison.
besides Hayw talks about retire at the age of 31 which i find absurd, the hw divison certainly dont need to go back to the messy soup with several weak champions it was just a couple of years ago
But with a champion who isn't as earth-shatteringly boring as Wlad.
depends on what you mean, i do like wlads personality and i think he makes a great idol for kids, polite, nice, doesnt drink, heighly educated, gives money to charity etc.
but by all means it wouldnt hurt him to get more aggresive and entertaining in the ring
Change is always healthy. If Haye wins and retires then all the belts are up for grabs again and we get to see some competition again.
yeah sure, we all remember how many good competitive fights there was with all the champions ducking each other going for safer and weaker matcups
The best we'll get from Haye, if indeed he beats Wlad, is a Vitali fight, then he'll retire.
it would be a sensational fight, however it would send the hw division right back to the chaotic soup it was just a couple of years ago.
it think the division would be best of with a dominant unified champ fighting the upp and coming contenders who themself will have to fight each other to get a shot at the title, in short its should be as it used to be in the old days
Sauerland screwed Valuev. They knew Haye was a more lucrative option and fights with the Klitschko brothers would make them a lot of money. Unfortunately for them, it seems like Haye is now too scared to fight the Klitschko brothers.
If everything was above board, Valuev would have been given the decision.
Even the sky commentators thought Haye lost, and that's saying something. :lol1:
David Haye is a joke and couldn't even beat Valuev fairly. Chagaev did it, Haye couldn't. :)
haye did an ok win and rid the world off Valuev, that being said wk is the real linage wba champ(i beat chagaeve who beat valuev) .
in short wba is stil milking an unworthy title
Lennox was an elite PAST-prime fighting an elite prime fighter in Vitali Klitschko. Thats the only reason it was even competitive.
If it was the PRIME Lennox of 97 who demolished Golota in 1 round and Briggs in 5, Vitali wouldve been knocked out Looke how the golfer, Corrie Sanders was able to knock Vit down...
I still pick Vit to win, but he is still in serious danger with briggs...early rounds.
most people consider lewis as a late bloomer, ie around the tyson fight.
he actually said so himself "im like fine wine i get better with age"
valuev was a nobody in england
collazo , urango , lazcano and mallignagi was nobodies here
even mayweather at the time was relativly unknown to general public but but they all did solid numbers fighting a much loved english fighter on ppv
so the main problem is that the british dont know crap about boxing?
makes sence

lol
im fairly sure thats from the tower in the middle of the charles bridge in Prague, there a picture of my ex in teh very same armor on the right
...meanwhile over in America, a boxer even less mature than Vitali and two year younger, was tearing apart the HW division and then unifying the world titles.
however he did considerably worse against Lewis and Williams
**** klitshkos they dont fight outside there country.Haye would ko vitali.
if i remember correctly wlad has had one fight in hes country.....not sure about vit....maybe one ore two
its disputed if the cut was caused du to a punch ore glove edge glancing blow which is illegal.
under normal circumstances a fight which is stopped by an illegal blow is a technical draw in round 1-4 and after that goes to the scorecard, however this is not in effect under championships fights.
so anyway you put it, its a correct win for lewis.........but well he won but he didnt exactly whop him
It's not even worth arguing with him. Klitschko fans are the most retarded fans in the sport.
Lewis hit Vitali with legit punches to the head and ruined his face. Lewis won the fight.
That is exactly what happened.
That Vitali was ahead on the scorecards is completley irrelevant. Jersey Joe Walcott was ahead on the scorecards when Marciano knocked him out. Being ahead on the scorecards means fuck all if you get stopped.
Take a look at Lewis and Vitali's faces after the fight. Who looks like the looser?
Then offcourse there's also the myth that Vitali "dominated" the fight, which is pure bull. 4-2 is not dominating, it's just being ahead on the scorecards.(which again means absolutley fuck all when you get your face smashed in).
didnt i say, anyway how you put it lewis won`?
my 2 cents
steroids can encrease the risk of injuries because muscle tissue will encrease quicker than what the tendons and bones can adjust.
but and its a big but........it doesnt mean that injuries dont happen naturaly, the most common injuries are relateed to the big joints, shoulders, elbows, knees, upperboy injuries are probably more common in boxing than say fotball.
so a shoulder injury isnt necessarily an indication of juicing.
Puerto Rico (Cotto, Lopez, Vazquez Jr, Martinez,...)
Japan (Nishioka, Uchiyama, Ao, Yamanako, Ioka, Hasegawa,...)
Germany (Huck, Sturm, Abraham, Stieglitz, Zbik,...)
Russia (Povetkin, Lebedev, Boytsov, Pirog,...)
all deserve to be mentioned as Top 5-10 contenders, but yeah the top 3 are definitely USA and Mexico together with the UK or Cuba at the moment.
Puerto Rico are hurting at the moment, but it's a population issue...
dude, half of the german fighters aint even german
Yes. Look at Vitali Klitschko. He wasn't a 1 punch KO artist.
My thoughts exactly, vk has some of the highest ko% in the history of the division, by quantity.
Never thought of him as especially heavy handed.
Tyson, in his prime in the eighties, before he sacked Rooney and started to neglect his training, was beating guys who were 6'7 and 6'6 in height.
Also, I know the likes Vitali has had virtually zero positive coverage in the mainstream media of but has Vitali won twelve World title fights like Iron Mike?
please, people think to much off the height, sam peter beat mcline6.5 and whopped 7 julius long but still got whopped by vitali and wlad.......why because they are skilled.
