To me it must be 2 german superstars:
Henry Maske and Sven Ottke.
I have spent countless saturdays being lulled to sleep when they fought. I always had some 'exitement' in my gut before every Ottke fight: Hoping that he'd be KTFO. Of course that never happened. I still hope he makes an ill-advised comeback though :lol1::lol1:
Let's have a look shall we? Was the Juan Lazcano fight boring? Yes. Was getting owned by Floyd Mayweather boring? Yes. Was the beating up a shot Jose Luis Castillo boring? Yes. Was the Juan Urango fight boring? Yes. Was the getting a gift against Luis Collazo boring? Yes. Was getting roughed up by Carlos Maussa for 9 rounds boring? Yes. Was getting away with countless fouling against Kostya Tzsyu boring? Yes.
Of course, if you listen to the media, Ricky Hatton is the most exciting fighter on the planet.
Wow, so you're basing your opinion on 7 fights out of 45?
Ya'll are forgetting about Chris John!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he is an undefeated fighter that few have heard of let alone seen in the ring
to me that is boring
at least the quiet man is seen (although maybe he shouldnt be) but hey we got to see his boring ass a few too many times
John is never seen
he fights on monday nights somewhere in idonesia
to me that is boring
Vernon Forrest .. I'm getting tired and bored just writing it... The only excitement about Forrest is when Mayorga ****ed him up..!
I agree! Forrest is a very bland fighter. Nothing exciting about his style.
Only fight I ever liked with Ruiz was Tua. Tua-Ruiz is probably on the end of every fight tape I own. I watch Jones-Ruiz every here and there to watch his trainer flip his shit.
lol
I think i can make an exception on that one
What, Wlad boring? He KOS just about everyone he fights, quickly. Not too many long drawn out bouts, just quick KOs. Who is going to LOL at that decades from now?
Hatton is very entertaining aswell, you guys are on crack.
John Ruiz was boring.
Its like this. If you're a fan of hip hop music, but dont particularly like a specific artist, does that not make u a "real" hip hop fan? Must u like every single artist in order to be considered a "real hip hop fan"?
Of course not. You gotta be selective and seek out the artists that are actually worth listening to, don't just listen to any old shit. 99% of hip hop is complete and utter garbage, and it's pretty much the same for any genre. Some of the best talent is often virtually unknown. This is especially true in hip hop. Most hip hop artists are KILLING hip hop. It's gotten so far away from what it was in the first place due to the sole focus now being money and who can get the most.
Hip hop started as a way for young street kids to channel their energy into something other than gang wars.

Chris Jonh
Gavin Rees
B-Hop---most of the times

most boring champs.
Lennox Lewis and every heavyweight champ since.
"i must be gay as i think the best thing from england is elton john" - dino
Lewis wasn't that bad, he blasted a few guys out early, and there was plenty of action in a lot of his fights. I think it was only the Holyfield fights that were bad.
I await the poster who says how a fighter like Spinks, Winky, or Floyd arent boring, and we are not real boxing fans if we dont find them entertaining.
