Dont understand why theres only 11 of them on the calendar. Should've included Maidana or Juanma in there
edit: oh yea what happened to Floyd? Thought he was on original cover but on the PDF version he's nowhere to be found.
Martinez deserves FOTY, how can anyone deny it. Anyone who disagrees are dumb-ass fanboys. And im not even much of a fan of Sergio's.
BTW TS really got burnt on this thread lol
Would rather see Maidana V Pacquaio than Marquez. Marquez is not a 147lber
I agree, Though id love to see JMM get the final trilogy with Pac (and getting a big payday he deserves). The Maidana fight could be alot more competitive. Pac hasnt fought a young, hungry live dog in a long time. Im in, but id only pay PPV if the overall card was worth it.
I consider myself a Pac fan, and Im pretty pissed that he's fighting Shane. Like others have said, if we support this farce of a fight than whats to stop Arum to do this all over again later this year or to all the top rank fighters for that matter. Old man Arum knows he's not going to be around for much longer thus milks the sport dry. In only hurts the entire sport in the long run.
Just stream this one folks.
We all know Sergio is just after a $$$ fight, all that "picking on the little guy" sh*t is out the door as long as Manny is campaigning his title at 154.
Considering how much criticism this match up already had/has I cant see this doing anywhere near 2 mil.
If CBS could push this hard....I feel they could do 1.5
I really don't get the point of this thread.
With that said....it would be terrible as GBP would have a monopoly on the sport and force feed us sh1t fights.
Arum along with King are the two greatest promoters of all-time. Losing Arum would hurt the sport severly.
Dont get but hurt, I dont wish death on Bob. But its a legitimate question. The point of the thread is just as you said, "repercussions" of his passing would be seen and felt throughout the sport. Now what that means? Who knows yet, but its worth speculating. But I do know alot of what happens depends on Todd's business philosophy and views.
