Now that Pac/Mosley is signed, should we support it for boxing's sake?

I'll gladly watch it. And even though Pacquiao deserves one, this is no easy payday.

It is the duty of a boxing fan to not support the very thing that's killing it!!If Pacman chose Berto,or Martinez he would have had 100% support by everyone!!But top rank's agenda is clear,milk the fans & get payed,Margarito was a horrible,horrible event & this doesn't help that fact,fvck this fight.

Good for you... Watch all the prize fights. You can learn alot about the sports just by watching them. You will fall in love with the sports soon enough. I started the same way. Love the sport, don't hate on the fighters. They are risking their lives just by getting in the ring to entertain fans. I will pay for it alright. I honestly don't care about the outcome. I want to see how they fight each other, their styles, mistakes, defenses, etc etc. You brought up about both fighters on roids but stated only Mosley admiting using it. Isn't it unprofessional to accuse both if you have confirmation from only one? While boxing is an Olympic sport, I understand pro boxing isn't govern by said sports organization. Most other professional sports don't use OSDT. Am I right here? Is it practical to use OSDT in boxing? or is it applicable only to Pac and Mosley in your book? Good for you... I consider myself a Pac fan, and Im pretty pissed that he's fighting Shane. Like others have said, if we support this farce of a fight than whats to stop Arum to do this all over again later this year or to all the top rank fighters for that matter. Old man Arum knows he's not going to be around for much longer thus milks the sport dry. In only hurts the entire sport in the long run. Just stream this one folks.

Exactly! I only purchased ONE pay-per-view this year. And it was Mosley/Mayweather. And do you know why? Because Floyd is an excellent fighter, and at the time, Mosley was coming off his Margarito destruction. It was a credible fight! It was worth EVERY PENNY. I don't regret it one bit! When Shane had Floyd reeling in round two, I was as excited as I'd ever been watching a boxing match. My heart was POUNDING. I thought we were on the brink of history. I certainly can't say that about Manny/Clottey or the Margarito fight. Those fight's outcome were not in doubt from the word go. And they proved to be lop-sided borefests. At least Shane brought excitement early on, and Floyd put on a boxing clinic afterward. Now, take the Floyd/Marquez fight. I didn't even watch it live. It was obviously a mismatch from the get-go. Therefore, the fight didn't deserve my hard-earned money. I say, watch the fight, yes. But watch it at a bar, or on a stream. Because, quite frankly, Mosley is a lamb being lead to slaughter. There's ZERO percent chance he wins this fight. Just like I said about the Margarito fight when it was announced. And TBH, that fight was even more of a sham, because Margarito didn't deserve the payday after the stunt he pulled. Top Rank is a bunch of crooks. Pure and simple. Which is why I support Floyd. He could have fought Margarito in 2006 for $8million, but didn't. He chose to fight Baldomir instead for $8,000,001 just to stick it to Arum. :D And good for him for doing so! Honestly, boxing is fine. It doesn't need any more support than it gets on a fairly regular basis. It has it's up and downs, but it's fine. Realistically, if you want to see a good fight, then why not buy it or watch it however you can. Honestly, the fight will get over 800K in terms of buys regardless.

Putting a sh*tty matchup on PPV doesn't help boxing.

Who ever supported the Margarito fight,might as well support this 1!!I'm no longer a Pacman fan since Margarito & this fight doesn't make it any better,I'll read about the fight right here & watch it a week later,that's just me though!!
