Not that I wish the old man dead, but he is getting up there. I can only assume Todd DuBoef would be taking over the helm at TopRank. But what kind of changes do you see happening? What would you like to see happen?
Dont get but hurt, I dont wish death on Bob. But its a legitimate question. The point of the thread is just as you said, "repercussions" of his passing would be seen and felt throughout the sport. Now what that means? Who knows yet, but its worth speculating. But I do know alot of what happens depends on Todd's business philosophy and views.
well a lot of what you see right now with Top Rank is what Todd has implemented
those streams we love from Top Rank showing their press conferences? Todd's doing.
the undercard non TV fights we get to enjoy on stream? Todd
so he has an idea and an outlook with Top Rank that I think will still make them a force for decades to come
now I understand why people look at Bob because he is the figurehead and makes the final decisions but the entire team at Top Rank will be critical in their success and they have one of the best crews top to bottom
from Trampler to Goodman to Samuels and Jimenez all top notch at what they do

It would suck. Boxing Is nothing without conflict.
I'm not sure what would happen if Arum dies. King and Arum were givin us almost all the best fights. I don't blame Bob for Mayweather-Pac not happening. Guys like Dibella and Shaw can't promote a sh*t. I don't know how GBP can handle boxing afterwards.
It wouldn't change anything. The problem isn't Arum, it's that people like Arum are allowed to operate. If one goes down, there is always someone ready to replace him.
if arum passed, Allah forbid, the last true promoter will be gone. Let's face facts. the only 2 true promotional companies today are Top Rank and HBO. everyone else is nothing but glorified booking agents and King has fallen off big time.
I really don't get the point of this thread.
With that said....it would be terrible as GBP would have a monopoly on the sport and force feed us sh1t fights.
Arum along with King are the two greatest promoters of all-time. Losing Arum would hurt the sport severly.

I wouldn't wish death on anyone, I know at this point in time he's really killing the sport but he's also greatly contributed to it also. He's given us some great match ups.
