well im american and could give 2 shits what the nationality of a fighter is...
As am I. I served 6 years active duty and still love the sport as a sport, regardless of who dominates/wins. This comment of mine obviously doesn't apply to us. The haters know who they are.
If Wlad was American it still would not help the current state of the division
I disagree. Yu my frend suffer from what I call the "Mike Tyson Hangover." You are so delusional to the boxing game that you lie to yourself in order to make yourself sound credible on this forum. Of course you would be all over Wlad if he was American with the track record he has. Just about everyone would. American boxing fans are, for the most part, arrogant. I was this way before I saw the light and appreciated the sport as a whole rather than a secluded object just here to the states. The only way I can help is to tell you to let go the bias, as I am not a doctor, just a diehard 'boxing fan.'
I may be new here, but I have had many names on this site before. If Wlad was American, he would be the next white hope/hype and folks would be nut hugging him everywhere like he was Tyson in his prime. Anyone who thinks otherwise suffers from what I call the "Mike Tyson Hangover." They just can't get over the fact that the best heavyweight isn't American anymore and hate on anyone who isn't an American heavyweight. News Flash people, the best fighters aren't American anymore. Boxing is a global sport, get over your arrogance/ignorance.
Awesome video!!! Make us some more. Man, xcaret still knows boxing huh?!?!?! lol, it's good to have a court jester who thinks he know it all. Makes comedy easier
Let me clarify my comment on the "great white hope/hype." The rarity of such a fighter in the heavyweight division provides such an anomaly into the equation, it deserves such attention here, the good ol' USA. Hasn't happened in a long, long time.
If there is a rehydration clause i'm not interested. Otherwise GGG by UD.
Yeah, any funny business to stack the deck is a turn off for me bro. If he comes down to 154 and makes the limit on the Friday before the fight, then there should be no issues. But there will be. Because it's Floyd.
TS must be a khanturd. Brook has a title and made his mandatory. Been calling out plenty of fighters but each fighter has a different excuse, especially khan.
Who was that idiot on NSB saying Bradley would beat Golovkin? Lol almost KO'd by Vargas.
Ref needs to hang em up.
Vargas sucks.
That's what you get when you step into NSB lol that sh1t is crazy
Jessie Vargas is clearly delusional. That being said, Bradley cannot take a punch like how he used to. He's had a awesome career to this point and made good money. I strongly feel that if he was in with a puncher last night, he would have gotten seriously hurt.
Harold lederman drives me crazy. The baby bull made similar sounds when punching but couldn't bust a grape power wise. This Valdez kid creates angles well and is accurate...but his grunting and sitting on his punches is not turning into mind blowing power as lederman suggests
you guys go so far out of the way to let us know how embarassed ward made you when he outclassed carl froch :lol1:
as if you care at all about american TV ratings.
BET, a network you've probably never heard of, is "black entertainment television."
it's a niche network. i didn't even ahve BET on my regular cable package until recently.
my only concern is that these shows aren't sustainable for rocnation. i don't care how much money they've got. they can't sustain gigantic losses liek that.
thy're taking a long term outlook on ward. they want him happy now, so that he wont' jump ship when golvokin and kovalev are potential PPV fights.
tjhe PPV landscape is going to shift dramatically when floyd retires. i can't say that ward will fill the void. i'd be shocked if he's a 10th of the star. still, a tenth of nine figures, which is what floyd allegedly earned to fight pacquiao, is a life changing amount of money, and worth the investment for rocnation.
You are sounding a lot like brushmyhair right now.
So we have a guy who hasn't fought an opponent with a pulse in nearly 4 years, returning to beat an untrained overweight no. 4 SMW in England, and he is supposed to be the second best fighter on the planet? Really?
Only on NSB.
Exactly. A bunch of knobs in this forum.
They shouldn't have stripped a prime champion of his ring title over injuries n promo issues
Ward kicking everyone ass at 168
Dude is so skilled and talented
These are exactly the reasons why fighters should get stripped. Inactivity and prolonged injury.
When discussing the Mexico vs. Puerto Rico rivalry Puerto Ricans always bring up the population disparity between the 2 nations relative to the amount of champs they have.
For such a small population (as they love to bring up) Puerto Rico does seem to have a lot more quitters than other countries. I'm sure the whole population excuse will be dismissed when it goes against their agenda though, :sombrero:, :fing26:.
Awesome post!
Since May 2nd i have seen posters who lived and died by compubox now discredit it..They used it to say Floyd lost to Castillo, used it to say Manny beat Jmm in the 2nd and 3rd fight..but now all the sudden it does not apply? So is it valid or not valid?
It's invalid because it plays no part in the judges scoring.
Also, too many button pushers are scoring punches that are blocked or don't land at all.
What has Bradley done to deserve this hate? He's in the latter years of his career and can't take a shot like he used to. He's had an awesome career. One loss and he's faced a who's who of opponents during his career without having devastating power (or even good power). People on this board are crazy man lol jesus
