So maybe Cotto should grow a pair and defend it in the ring? Is that GGG's fault that the WBC has a coward for a champion?
If you were Cotto you would fight Canelo instead of GGG also, don't be foolish. Taking the bigger fight doesn't make you a coward.
And then Mayweather fought him at a limit of 152 when the limit for a jr middleweight title fight ain't 152, it's 154. Mayweather's title is just as fake as Canelo's was. Mayweather hasn't defended it in two fucing years. If he wasn't Mayweather he would have been stripped of his 154 pound titles long ago.
The butthurt commandments:
1. Bring Floyd's name up in threads that have nothing to do with him
2. Rant about his accomplishments in threads that have nothing to do with him
3. Bring up jabbing, running, clinching in threads that have nothing to do with
4. Bring up his titles in threads that have nothing to do with him
5. Should of been number one to me, never get high on your own supply.
Congratulations, your butthurt. Now take your frustrations to the May/Pac master thread.
SoRodrigo Valindez... Won both WBC and WBA titles after Monzon retired. Both titles vacant. Not uncommon.
If thread being directly thrown at GGG, come on now... It is quite obvious Golovkin is being Ran from like no other in recent times. Cotto won't fight him, quillin won't... Lee might but doubtful anytime soon.
Yup, and Gggs first belt was vacant since Sturm paid off the WBA to get upgraded to super and avoid the mando

In this era of boxing, a fighter can become a world champion by fighting and beating one opponent ranked in the top 15 in his weight class; a fighter can be regarded as the second best P4P fighter in the world by beating stumblebum after stumblebum; a fighter who can legitimately be considered the second best boxer in the world can be blackballed and can be prevented from gettiing a fight; a fighter can win a vacant world championship that was stripped from a legitimate champion, not fight a mandatory opponent for three years and still keep his belt; and a boxing network can dictate who fights who, when and how much money they get paid.
What was impossible 20 years ago is very possible now?
Canelo won a vacant WBC title then won the fake WBA beltAnd then Mayweather fought him at a limit of 152 when the limit for a jr middleweight title fight ain't 152, it's 154. Is the answer, by fighting paper champions, or by avoiding quality opposition for several years before he agrees to fight them in order for them to get old and beaten up a few times, or by not fighting strong young black fighters, or by fighting mostly one dimensional fighters?. Is that it? Is that the answer.
Correct. It's how you become TBE also apparently
Golovkin didn't win his world title (not even a vacant title fight) he was given it, if Cotto gets stripped he will be given another one without winning it.
