Chill on Frietas, if he didn't quit, he could have died, or ended his career that night. Should give him all the credit in hte world for stepping in the ring with Corrales.
I made a bucketload on Corrales that night tho. Not many believers...everyone though Freitas was gonna KD his ass 5 times or something.
Who do you think Floyd will fight now? Its seems like the Gatti fight is off, I think it was a good move by Gatti to give up on the fight. I honestly believe Mayweather would have humiliated Gatti so now Gatti can use the excuse of Mayweather didn't want to fight. I think Floyd should wait for the winner of Kostya Tyszu/Ricky Hatton.
Tyszu/Hatton winner would be for all the marbles. Corrales at 140 would be a barnburner, so would a rematch with Castillo. Those rematches would be a lot more exciting than the first few fights cuz of Mayweather's new style of standing in the pocket and trading shots.
rocky juarez is over rated IMO. he still hasn't taken on any top 15 gyz. all these gyz are like 33-7, he needs to take on sum good gyz. against raheem, he KD in the 2nd, but the 3 point deudctions were dum, and most thought that the scorecards were pretty in accurate as it is. A rematch of that would be nice. or for juraez to take on a contendor.
at least he's exciting.
Golota definitly did not beat bryd. He was lucky to get the draw. Chris embarassed him and almost knocked him down, not to mention backed him up on more than one occasion.
If Golota had to back away from Chris Bryd who is pretty much the weakest puncher ever at heavyweight than how could you think he was dominating?
Yo Joe, are you the Joe boxer at boxingpredictions.net?
too bad he didn't fight Gatti cuz that was the money fight. A showdown with Zab would be a crazy match up. If he moved up to 147, there's a whole bunch of great fight's for him too, Cintron...Margarito....Ouma....Zab....De la hoya (even tho he says no no no)....MOsely....
If Mayweather doesnt' develop the reluctant Roy disease, he has the opposition in these two weight divisions to cement his legacy and make him on the greatest boxers alive.
