Agreed, one belt per weight class, that would help the state of boxing. You would need to fight the best to be the best, not single out weaker champions with other belts just to call yourself champion

for what it's worth, i would be content to never see either one of these guys fight again. I do not have "Taylor's nuts in my mouth", but for the right price, I could be persuaded. I think Taylor is boring as hell as well. My opinion on the fight has nothing to do with bias for Taylor.

I will agree it wasn't the most exciting fight because of styles but don't say it was nothing more than a glorified sparring match. I was thoroughly impressed with mayweather's speed and DeLaHoya's defense.
I think the main reason there will be a re-match is because people will be interested and some do believe that DLH is the only fighter out there that can come close to matching Mayweather's skill level.
I agree though, I don't see the reason for it because I don't see DLH beating Mayweather at his age and at his level right now. It is a testament as to how great of a boxer DLH is to be able to even hang with PBF at the age of 35 years old.

I voted for DLH to fight Trinidad for one reason, to see Trinidad fight again, thought the more exciting fight would be for Oscar to fight Floyd. A DLH Trinidad fight would end either two ways: DLH using his boxing skill and schooling him like he was in the first fight, or DLH trying to trade like he did with Mayorga and getting knocked out

Regardless of who you thought won, Tito got the W. If Oscar wanted to redeem himself he would of took the offer. It dont matter if Oscar was on way more PPV, in Tito's mind, he won the fight, why should he fight for less? There are ways of going about things. All great fighters claim there the best or will one day be the greatest. The way Floyd goes about it is what makes him an ass.
I never rooted for Lewis, the reason being because he was great and i usually root for the underdog. He fought and beat the best opposition plus he was very respectful. His actions in and out of the ring are what made him great.

i think tournament style boxing would have a great positive impact for boxing. think about it, in a tournament you cant duck nobody, there would be no debate about who's the best. So many more fighters would get opportunities that they otherwise would never have. it would be a great idea, but i doubt it would ever happen
