What if Mayweathers strategy is to snipe then instead of blocking Oscars powerful shots he decides to clinch.
I think Mayweather might try to clinch DLH the whole way to eat up time and snipe.
Once the clinch is broken Mayweather would block a few shots, clinch run snipe.
block, clinch, run, snipe, repeat. And when the rounds almost over he'll clinch till the bell sounds. Ruining Oscars chances of hurting him and allowing him to keep his technical prowess longer.
Then from rounds 10 - 12 he'll go for a points ride.
This fight might not be entertaining at all.
What do you think?
Edit: In order to stop PBF from clinching Oscar might have to fight dirty, which he announced he will be doing during the fight about a month ago.

I think youre bored and trying to create the most posts of all time.
It all depends on Floyd's strategy and mental game that night.
It is one of the smart tools to use in any fight especially when a fighter is hurt or his gas tank is running empty, giving him some time to recover and get back in the game.
Many fighters, though, will clinch and hug excessively and sometimes unnecessarily, costing them the fight.
Clinching is one of many tools in a boxer's arsenal to use at the right moment. And Floyd will most likely apply it when the time is right. :boxing:

let ask you this, you as a judge will you give a round in favoring floyd when he ain't doing shit ?
Question. I know holding a clinch in MMA doesn't make much energy because your arms aren't being used as much. But in straight up boxing, wouldn't clinching up tire a fighters arms out?
I like this post.. I believe in it actually.. floyd will clinch but will break it up by pushing his left wrist or elbow on oscar...afterwards, throwing few short pitter pats for some points, yet at a pretty(no pun) safe distance to dodge, duck, roll shoulders..which ever process... thus creating ways for him to counter with short power shots...usually with his right hand...
thats just his forte right there, and I'm not mad at it...
no not at all. He'll do what he always does, but he'll have to be more active if he wants to assure himself of a win IMO.
Because Oscar is going to be landing the harder shots, So MAYWEATHER has to land a significant amount more.
