There are ways of going about things. All great fighters claim there the best or will one day be the greatest. The way Floyd goes about it is what makes him an ass.

If anyone understand boxing politics, Kenny does. That's his job. He respects the Ring over the belts, a clear sign that he has some kind of knowledge of the absurdity that goes on from time to time with the belts. You don't have to be in the ring to know about the politics of the sport.

On maxoboxing, it was mentioned more than once that yes, Brian did in fact have amateur fights. People always used this to try to say he was smarter than Kellerman in the days when Kellerman was on FNF. In any case, he probably was just a bum. World class boxing and it's politics is not his zone.

Brian Kenny is plenty knowledgeable, and used to fight himself I believe as an amatuer. If you can to discredit Brian, it's not going to be because of his 'lack of knowledge'. Brian Kenny never laced 'em up. Your post was good before you brought in that bullshit.

I just think it isnt fair for fighters to ctiticise journalists just because they havent "laced em up." Everyone should be able to have an opinion. Its not like he was giving Floyd advice on what to do. But Kenney is a guy who calls fighters bums and C class and paper champs to their face. Hes a fucking retard with no respect for fighters.

I saw some of the interview and from the beginning Kenny was trying to criticize Floyd. Kenny was just trying to live up to the hype of the first heated interview they had. Why would he criticize Floyd for fighting Baldomir? Baldomir has proved he's a good opponent and if Kenny doesn't realize that, he really doesn't know much about boxing imo.
