Haye pulls out in 2009.
And Steward also said: "Wlad is an honorable man! And because of the injury Wlad wants to fight Chisora! It was not Chisora fault, the fight falls apart.!"
i partially disagree. i dont think theres anything wrong with his chin and personally consider it to have been more of a stamina issue. sanders just caught him with fast shots he didnt see. if he had such a bad chin he wouldnt get up or attempt to get up everytime he gets knocked down.
to answer the actual question, i think a prime wlad gives any other prime heavyweight in history a good run for their money
True but Wlad has no stamina problems. Against Puritty he was a young kid who punched himself out. Such fights happend.
He underdrested Sanders and against Brewster he was poisened.
Interesting, i didn't know Sanders and Ibragimov were the same fighters.
Ibragimov and Sanders are the same type of fighter! Fast southpaw who looks for counter punches.
Sanders was not outboxing Wlad.
Sanders was waiting that Wlad made a mistake, which happens. Wlad wants to throw the left hook, to slow and to open. And than Sanders countered Wlad.
Against Ibragimov Wladimir shows that he learns from his losses, he took time and outboxed Ibragimov for 12 rounds.
Haye is Wlads business and has been from the start of this whole thing. Vitali needs to back off IMO and let him handle it. This is Wlads fight.
Absolutly right and Wlad wants this fight too. So Vitali should shut up.
False, this was Vitali Klitschko before he pulls out of the Rahman fight!
And Travis Walker dropped Vitali!!!! Klitschko with a body shot.
Wlad was never knocked down by any sparringspartner.
It was Vitali. In 2005 the story goes around that both men floored Vitali Klitschko. Walker with a body shot. Vitali sparred with Butler and Walker for his fight against Rahman.
Looking better is one thing, your opposition is another. Vitali's resume is so unimpressive..I don't know. Wladimir deserves a lot more credit than he gets on these boards.
Absolut true, Wlad is much better and has the much better resume.
That Chagaev was "dragged off the beach" to fight Klitschko is also a half truth, at best. Chagaev had trained long and hard for a WBA-ordered fight against Nikolai Valuev. However, Sauerland had that fight placed in Finland, and the Finnish federation willingly banned Chagaev a few days before the fight due to the "medical problems" that do not prevent Chagaev from fighting in Germany. Now, the BBBofC is used for that same purpose, so that Sauerland can maneuver their own fighter, Povetkin, into the fight. And if Haye thinks that the nice guys at Sauerland does this for his good, he can think again.
Absolut right.
And Wlad is the real WBA Champ he beats Chagaev.
Valuev said "no" i do not want to fight Wlad, so did Haye.
Haye pulls out in 2009 and Haye offers to fight in April 2011 and than he had no date on Sky. Laughable.
Wlad is a proven Champion, 58 fights, 18 Championship fights.
He should retire.
Povetkin had two times to box for the Championship. And he pulls out two times.
He is 31 years old. He should retire from pro boxing sport.
No one needs such a "contender"!!!
Byrd talked about his fight against Vitali in 2000.
Promoter was Universum Boxpromotion, not the Klitschko-Brothers themselves.
In 2006 Byrd get 4,5 Million Dollars for the Mandatory fight against Wlad.
I am not surprised.
Haye pulls out of the fight on 20the of june against Wlad and now he again pulls out.
Wlad should let him go and fight his mandatory.
Haye fooled his fans and the boxing fans.
Wlad offers him 50:50 and what did Haye say "no" i need time for my familiy, for negotiations, i will fight .....
Haye is a scared bitch.
Wlad fights his mandatory and two olympic gold medalist will fight for the Heavyweight Championship of the world.
HBO should take this fight.
But if HBO will not show it, i believe Showtime will take it on 18the of September.
