Floyd was taken late in the fight by an amateur with a 0-0 record who fights in a cage, wrestling and grappling.
REALLY MAN? Mcgegor out boxed him for like 5 rounds!!
I don't know how you could ever be bragging about this. Mcgregor was not supposed to land ONE punch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He did it on purpose to entertain casuals.
Legit made a bet on himself before the fight to win in 9.5, then he won in 9.5
If you bet on yourself before the fight go to late, and then you stop him right on time, it's pretty clear it was intentional.
Thats how he chose to box Floyd. I think he knew throwing big power shots would make him gas even faster so he was probably trying to time floyd with shorter shots to open floyd up to countering but floyd never countered until he was already tired.
It was stratagy for sure. If you don't believe he has KO power Fly to dublin and let him hit you.
He puts guys in the UFC out from all kinds of angles.
If it makes you feel better about your sport though then by all means pretend he can't knock people out. I'll be over here pretending Floyd was scared and we would both be idiots.
Ok, I'll rephrase. By boxing standards Conor is a pillow puncher with no power
Come on man,
"I'm gonna knock Floyd unconcious within 4 rounds, I'll knock him out in 2 rounds, I'll knock him out in 10 seconds!!"
"With 8 oz gloves I don't see Floyd making it past 1 round!"
"Floyd can't handle my power, he's too small, too old, too frail!!!"
And you're telling me Conor changed his strategy to be a pillow puncher after all that?
Wouldn't the best way to ensure you won't gas be to throw your hardest punches to knock out your opponent early?
It sounds like you're saying he chose to pace himself to try to win a decision against Mayweather, and ended up gassing anyway?
It was a leading question for sure but you still made me laugh :)
But when it was Conor who was doing it,
These Floyd fan boys became concerned if a boxer punches hard?
All Floyd did in most of his career was to collect points with his weak pitter patter shots as he ran and jab his way to a boring UD victory. Now Conor comes in the picture throws stiff jabs and body punches, that Floyd fan boys love to see their hero collect points, but now all of a sudden it's called weak punches lmao Why would that even matter to you guys when Floyd has been throwing pitter patter shots all his life. That still was still landed clean shots. And clear points deposited. In Floyd's world that was money in the back lol
You guys need to be consistent.
To you fans of Floyd, It's about out pointing, out hussling your opponent right? And hurting an opponent isn't a priority in Floyd's world. What changed this point of view?
This has always been the hurt business, but seeing you guys complain about Conor's weak punches. Makes me grin in laughter haha! Don't you guys see how ironic that is. Floyd's way is not to kill or be a fighter first and foremost, but to be a boxer first. Floyd's way is to box and land those shots and out point his opponent. Pitty patter shots in hopes of collecting points to coast to a 12 round borefest all day every day is Floyd's way. Now Conor who to you guys are doing the same thing in the ring, as he was out jabbing and out pointing Floyd in the early rounds is not the same, since it's weaker than floyd's pitter patter shots?
Haven't you folks realized, connecting clean and effective punches is the name of the game? Seeing Floyd's bubble snap back, seeing Conor's hooks landing in the body, uppercuts snapping FLoyd's head, are as clean and effective as it gets.
That said, guys be consistent. Conor's punches were amateurish, Yes, coz he is a novice afterall, but it was as clean as any boxer that lands on the money, and it did hurt Floyd a couple of times.
Floyd even had to lick his wounds and rally back in. :boxing:
Oh the Irony!! hahahaha!!
And Floyd had some wounds to lick, shiners sticking out like a sour thumb by the top of the brow, and they say he just came out of a spa lolololol
This dudes last heist is done. It's over. This was a cringe worthy performance by Floyd. Good thing he stopped Conor or boxing would have to take a big hit over MMA. SMDH
The saddest thing about you Spoon is that you aren't trolling.
You actually believe the stupid bull**** that comes out of your mouth.
I know that after I post this you're going to respond with even more idiotic, delusional, nonsense.
And that's why I'm here, I want you to recognize your retardation so that you can get better.

I'm still going on record as saying even if you think Conor won rounds 1-3 it's because Floyd let him win those rounds on purpose.
Floyd threw an average of 9 punches total per round in rounds 1-3
Floyd then threw an average of 44 punches total per round in rounds 4-9
Clearly Floyd wasn't trying to win the only rounds in the fight people could give to Conor, and even when Floyd was throwing single digit punches per round Conor still didn't land.
McNugget "peeleft:
A few weeks ago people were saying "Don't worry, he'll be in shape when it's time to fight."
At this point he's just not looking as good as he used to, and he's aged.
I like Canelo in this fight, I feel like Canelo's fought better boxers and if it goes to a decision he's going to get it.
GGG's got a nice jab and a real puncher's chance, it's a good fight but I'm taking Canelo.
God damn you might be autistic. WHen has floyd ever done this?
Floyd got taken to the 10th round by a ****in amateur.
You're proving my point.
When has Floyd ever walked straight at an opponent without moving his feet whatsoever?
Never.
The reason why he did it in this fight?
Because he wanted to make the fight entertaining for the fans.
He literally said he was going to do this before the fight.
Mayweather bet on himself to win in 9.5 rounds, he then won by TKO in 9.5 rounds.
It was 100% intentional.
The sweet science looked overrated. Foyd turning his back, conner landing more shots than any other fighter.
The ecuses are mind boggling, Floyd had to let an MMA fighter gas, to score the KO.
Floyd intentionally carried Mcgregor to make the fight more interesting for casual fans.
Floyd threw 6 punches total in round 1, clearly he was letting Mcgregor win rounds early for entertainment purposes and to let him tire himself out.
Then Floyd beat Mcnugget's ass, walked him down, and made him quit.
It's pretty simple :boxing:
lolololol sure buddy.
Threw 6 punches total in round 1, 30 punches total thru round 3, and then suddenly started throwing triple, quadruple, and quintuple the amount of punches per round for rounds 4-10.
Didn't move his feet at any point throughout the fight.
Literally said before the fight "I'm going to go straight at him and go toe to toe to give the fans what they want"
Again, it's pretty simple
Glad to see you and all Floyd fans come around and admit Conor was winning the fight. A lot of my friends who are floyd fans called me to congratulate me the day after.
When do i pick up the keys to your car and house that you bet? ;)
Most experts didn't think Mcgregor would land a single punch...
He did more than exceed expectations
You're continually proving my point.
If Mayweather fought defensively and let Mcgregor gas without getting hit, all the casuals would've said
"HE JUST RAN, THIS IS BORING, I FEEL ROBBED."
Instead he completely changed his style, carried Mcgregor to avoid that, and it worked.
Bet on himself, walked forward with no fear, broke Mcnugget down, beat his ass, made him quit. :boxing:
But your reasoning is flawed. You use Floyds lack of output as a means to justify him throwing the fight in the early rounds. That's just a logical fallacy.
It looked more like Foyd had to wait until Mcgregor tires, in order to put on offense. Due to mcgregors countering and length.
Your reasoning consists of taking away all possible credit given to mcgregor, and creating a RIDICULOUS narrative to justify floyds ****ty early performance.
Mcgregor is better than 85 percent of pro boxers..DEAL WITH IT
Name one Jr Middleweight - Middleweight that Mcnugget beats after how he performed vs Mayweather.
Floyd PLANNED to tire out Mcgregor from the very beginning and told you the plan before the fight. He even bet on himself to win in 9.5, which he did right on time.
You're vastly overrating Mcnugget in an attempt to disparage boxing.
Mcnugget's a pillow puncher with no defense who gasses extremely early.
The guy got knocked out by a 40 year old 150lb defensive fighter who walked him down, beat his ass, and made him quit. :boxing:
And you say you love boxing? "peeleft:
lol
Compublind
Don't believe anything written in Vegas.
haven't you learned anything by now. Those numbers are not reliable. Even the score cards were rigged. Judges giving Floyd the first 3 rounds is the clue to this con job fix fight lmao
What is reliable is Floyd's head turning into a bubble head over and over again.
Mayweather didn't have a single mark on his face at the end of the fight.
And that uppercut you've been jerking off to, didn't do any damage whatsoever. Floyd didn't move and even smiled after it landed.
https://i.imgur.com/BfW6zMf.jpg
Yes, he was not doing anything because of mcgregors style and countering. He was abit shocked...
I love boxing, but that made boxing look horrible and overrated.
It made boxing look as if it didn't have the best athletes in the world..which it doesn't.
I don't think you love boxing.
You asked me to explain Mcgregor's early "success" and I did.
Floyd intentionally walked straight ahead with no movement whatsoever for the entire fight which made Mcgregor look better.
Floyd fought different this fight on purpose to make it entertaining and because he wasn't worried about anything that Mcgregor could do.
I explained it and backed it up with facts like Floyd betting on himself and statistics like the punch stats, in addition to the fact that Floyd was smiling and laughing at Mcgregor's best shots and was never in trouble in the entire fight.
If you still don't get it, that's a personal problem.

Hello there. Before the MacWeather fight I came over to this forum to talk to yall about our respective sports and the fight in general hoping to garner some interesting insight and also answer some questions you guys had about Conor and MMA and what have you.
Now that the fights over I am back again!
Ask me anything you want about how the MMA fan base took the lose or how we viewed it and I'll ask the same of you guys.
I'm from the underground Forum which is the biggest MMA forum on the net.
In general we are pretty god damn happy with Conors performance, most of us didn't think he would win and some of us were even more agressive about his chances than that.
I for one thought he would put in a good performance and maaaybe if the stars aligned knock floyd out which is what we were all hoping for but also I knew the reality was that he had an insane task ahead of him and it was probably more than he could chew.
Ask me anything.
How come Conor claims to have power but in reality he's a pillow puncher?
Exactly!
These Floyd pom pom girls can't see how Floyd can't get set for 4 the first 4 rounds over a novice.
They think Floyd getting hit over and over is part of the strategy lmao :lol1:
https://i.imgur.com/gVUGK8s.png
"hit over and over" :lol1:
Check out those percentages of pitty patty pillow punching McPimpleface.
the first four rounds clearly went to Connor
be realistic
for the first four rounds only one person was making clear contact and that was Connor.
if you refuse to admit that
than clearly you're emotionally attached to Floyd..
After the fourth round connor ran out of steam and floyd started to land and win rounds...
Connor did a lot better than most people expected, be honest...
Because Floyd let him look good on purpose.
Floyd threw 6 punches in round 1, 10 or 12 punches in round 2 and round 3. Not to mention in the rounds Conor "won" he did literally no damage to Mayweather whatsoever. Even his famed uppercut that he landed was a pillow punch that had no effect at all.
Suddenly in round 4 onward Floyd was throwing 30-60 punches per round and beat Conor's ass because Floyd started trying.
Conor won the rounds that Floyd intentionally let him win. Let's be real and not pretend like Conor did anything special at all.
Go rewatch the fight, it's obvious. If you refuse to admit that, clearly you're emotionally attached to Conor :pat:
LOOOOOOOL Fighting doesn't work that way, it's not a movie yes like WWE. Mcgregors jab and length and awkward style was throwing Foyd off, it was clear.
This is not a fairy tale.
Stop riding floyds nuts
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DINl1EwUMAAOwrF.jpg:large
Take a look at Floyd's thrown punches round by round.
Round 1: 6 punches thrown
Round 2: 10 punches thrown
Round 3: 12 punches thrown
Round 4: 31 punches thrown
Round 5: 26 punches thrown
Round 6: 37 punches thrown
Round 7: 54 punches thrown
Round 8: 48 punches thrown
Round 9: 68 punches thrown
6 punches total thrown in the first round? Come on man he wasn't trying to win that round at all. :pat:
It's pretty damn clear Floyd wasn't trying to fight in those first 3 rounds.
He ducked a few guys.
I wouldn't say Mayweather "didn't" cherry pick, but I would say that his cherry picking was overblown.
Mostly it's just people wishing that he got beat by someone. prime Pacquiao, brick hands Margarito, and people were heavily calling for Floyd to fight Golovkin just to try to see him lose in any way possible :lol1:
You can't fight everybody.
The game plan did not consist of floyds opponent landing more than anyone else on floyd, EVER.
This was not the game plan LOL WTF?
Was definitely the gameplan to walk straight forward and make it entertaining.
I know this because before the fight Floyd literally said:
"I'm going to go straight forward, fight toe to toe, and give the fans what they want to see."
:pat:
Ray Leonard whoops Floyd easy.
I don't think Floyd could handle someone who's got better physical tools, just as good boxing skills, comparable speed, and more power.
I've got Leonard by decision. :boxing:
It's like you guys all take acid. He fought Canelo at the exact same weight who couldn't do anything. Conner made 154, what is wrong with you?
Conor himself said he was coming in the ring weighing 170...
Floyd probably didn't cut any weight at all and came in at 150.
Where was Mcgregor's power? Anything he landed had no effect and Floyd was laughing at him and kept coming forward without any foot movement at all.
Mcnugget had FOOKING nothing
lmao team mayweather got trolled hard
Not even a little bit.
Jeff calmly made this idiot look like a fool while laughing at him in his face the whole time.
Connor weighed 153 that's a fact
Where are you getting the 170 from?
Oh the unofficial unverified scale?
I suppose Floyd came in at 149 for the fight too huh?
Yeah doubt he hydrated at all in fact I bet Floyd came in at 135.
Wow a 135 fighter beat a 170 fighter. I like living in your fantasy world you just to make shit up and run with it.
Conor said before the fight, and live on fight night "I'm 170 pounds"
Straight from his own mouth.
Did you watch the fight and honestly think Conor weighed 153 on fight night?
