Cold Hard Truths:
Mayweather deliberately let Conor win his only winning rounds to entertain the casual fans.
Conor is a pillow puncher.
Mayweather beat Conor's ass and took him late intentionally to win the bet he placed on himself of victory within 9.5 rounds.
Mayweather threw a total of 6 punches in round 1, 10 punches in round 2, and 12 punches in round 3.
Clearly not trying to win those rounds at all.
After round 4 Mayweather threw an average of 44 punches per round
Remember:
"With 8 ounce gloves I'll kill Mayweather"
"I will knock this man unconscious"
"Floyd's never seen a fighter like me before"
"He's too small, too old, too frail, I'll walk right through Mayweather and bang his head off the canvas"
"I'll knock out Mayweather in 4 rounds, in 2 rounds, in 10 seconds!!!"
Mcgregor was complete ****. There is literally not one single junior middleweight or middleweight boxer that Mcgregor could beat. Not one.
Mayweather walked down the bigger man, never retreated or moved his feet, and beat Mcnugget's ass until he quit. :boxing:

Not really.
Andre ward says it best.
http://www.boxingscene.com/andre-ward-expected-more-from-mayweather-showed-his-age--119931
“I expected a lot less from McGregor and I expected a little bit more from Floyd Mayweather. I think Floyd showed his age a little bit. He’s still got a lot left in the tank, but when you start seeing yourself getting hit with punches you typically won’t get hit with, especially against a guy with no experience, and you’re not offensively getting off and throwing like you should be - it’s time to hang it up. It’s not that you don’t have it, but you want to leave before you don’t have it anymore," Ward said.
ANDRE WARD TO FLOYD: IT'S TIME TO HANG UP
Here is another one.
I normally don't agree with Amir Khan, but he also says. Conor lost coz of fatigue.

You don't still talk to yourself with both accounts do you? :lol1:
I give credit where credit is due. Conor represented himself well in a short notice pro debut fight. Most boxer leearned their craft at an early age and turn pro after 10-15 years harnessing their skills to turn pro. What Conor did was amazing to see how he was able to stay there with a seasoned vet with such a short time of learning boxing.
That said, I was routing for Floyd. He needed to drop Conor in the 10th, if he didn't, and Conor survived the 12 rounds. That would have fuvked up the sport that we love.
I always thought this was a circus fight, and Conor having only a punchers chance to win this, thus, it was obviously Floyd who should win this. But seeing what Conor did, and a strong case he took four straight rounds. Is remarkable in itself. Got to give him that. A novice did that to Floyd. I was shocked to see how easy it was for Conor to land those shots. I was covering my eyes. Cringing how Floyd was taking so much shots to the body and head. It was embarrassing to see.
Hats off to Conor. He represented himself well. You can't ask for anything more from him. Even Max Kellerman even said before the fight, Conor won't land a single punch on Floyd, but he did and so much more.
- Got to give him credit for that. He went above and beyond any boxing fans expectations.

I gave credit to McGregor but for different reasons. He represented his sport well. He is the best boxer in the MMA and it showed Saturday night. However, I don't give him credit for landing punches on Mayweather because obviously Mayweather made a conscious decision to abondon his defense in order to get close to McGregor. I said it numerous times since the fight that McGregor's reach was a legitimate issue for Mayweather. If it wasn't you would probably see Mayweather stay at range, walk McGregor down, and eventually stop him. He couldn't stay at range because when he tried to counter he was unable to because he couldn't get within his reach. Therefore, he did the next best thing. He put his guard up and pushed his way into McGregor's chest. Of course he would get hit doing that but it didn't matter because McGregor had no pop. Mayweather showed once again that even with an unconventional fighter who was doing things than he'd ever seen in the boxing ring before, and outweighed him with a longer reach, he made the necessary adjustments to accomplish his goal. Don't get me wrong this win is nothing to brag about. But let's not go crazy and heap undue praise on McGregor for merely surfing 9.5 rounds. This would be like heaping praise on the younger, bigger, stronger Canelo for not getting KO'd against Mayweather.
Show me clean hard effective punches of round 3 and 8 and show me how Conor had better defense than floyd and who was the ring general
Dude McGregor clearly outpointed Floyd in those rounds. Floyd barely threw any punches whatsoever in those rounds.
Don't matter how much 'ring generalship' you allegedly had if you aint throwing nothing.
Dude I'm a Floyd fan, my name should tell you that in and of itself, but come on. He lost those rounds.
I understand he was tryna put pressure on McGregor, make him move too much and punch himself out, but to do that you gotta sacrifice a round or two, especially when you're not throwing.
Floyd won 6 rounds, and was gonna take the tenth as well, at which point the fight would have been dead and buried, McGregor wasn't gonna survive the rest of the tenth anyway.
Floyd dominated McGregor, outsmarted and outskilled him, I get it. But he lost those 3 rounds.
Yet after all these cold hard facts you still praise his 50-0 like it means something. You just shot yourself in the foot and proved the haters point that Floyd is the biggest cherry picker of this generation! Thanks a lot you fawk tard!
Exactly. Everyone in the boxing world knows this should be a Floyd easy win. This was the easiest cherry to pick. An 0-0 fighter has no business even being there in the fist place . There is nothing to be proud with that performance of him fighting an 0-0 guy and looking vulnerable over a novice. That's what I call a cherry 🍒 pick gone wrong lol
Put a big fat asterisk next to it, coz that's what it was. Not a small asterisk, a big one lol
Round 1, 3, and 8 buddy.
But yeah Floyd pretty much won 6 rounds and was on his way to winning the tenth as well (if McGregor would have survived that is).

And mcgregor only won round won, pay attention to the second round you'll see floyd managed to get the range/timing and landed some good right hands and then from then it was a cake walk
Round 1, 3, and 8 buddy.

Pac fans, yall need to give it up. You criticize Floyd over the littlest **** and he still wins. Even at 40 he still wins clearly. He doesn't get beaten up by a guy like Horn, he doesn't get knocked unconscious, outboxed over the distance or ko'd as a young fighter twice. Give it up. It's over for Pac. He was a great fighter and a Hall Of Fame fighter but Floyd was the greater fighter and history will see him as being greater no matter how much more of an exciting YOU Pac fans think he was than Floyd.
I thought you were rooting for Mayweather to win for the sake of boxing. You also said if Mayweather didn't get a KO it would be an embarrassment.
He won by a KO and actually stood in front of McGregor and now you're criticizing him for getting hit?
It's going to be hard for you to keep up this hate now that he's retired for real.

Exactly!
These Floyd pom pom girls can't see how Floyd can't get set for 4 the first 4 rounds over a novice.
They think Floyd getting hit over and over is part of the strategy lmao :lol1:
I thought you were rooting for Mayweather to win for the sake of boxing. You also said if Mayweather didn't get a KO it would be an embarrassment.

Here's my take:
I had Floyd losing the first three rounds. Conor simply was more active and while some of his punches were ridiculous he was more active and Floyd was completely inactive. Sorry you don't win rounds that way.
The fact Floyd gave away three rounds added some drama to the fight. But it was clear during those three that McGregor couldn't hurt Floyd and he was already showing signs of fatigue.
By round four Conor was already starting to gas and it was pretty much his last pretty good full round. Floyd also started targeting more and more the body. It wasn't a robust attack but it was clear Floyd was starting to fire it up.
After that it was only a matter if McGregor was going to make it or not. Floyd was in shape to fight 12 rounds McGregor was in shape to fight 6 rounds. That isn't to say Floyd wasn't 100 times more skilled in the ring than Conor but I think had Conor been a conditioned boxer he would have made it the distance. I think he went down more out of sheer exhaustion than being seriously hurt. He couldn't even raise his arms up. He literally lunged to hold.
The fans got what they wanted, I heard it among casuals all day long. It was a circus of a fight but the masses loved it. They (Floyd and Conor) may have not planned the fight this way but it couldn't have been scripted that much better. Kudos to both making a crap load of money but as a boxing fan this fight was meaningless. Like watching an old Jesse Owens running against a horse. Side show now time to get on to real boxing.
I'm just keeping it real. Your girl friend just said he didn't have a mark in him. That's a mark, unless you are blind as bat :lol1:
Oh you are actually, you can't see straight when you are swallowing floyd's divk all the time. I forgot! :lol1:
You don't know the meaning of the word, you are slimiest hater of any sportsman Ive ever seen anywhere.
Boxing won and look at you nothing but a scumbag.
You are pathetic, when you start shaving you will get more damage than that.

He didn't care you idiot that's a lot different than let.
The greatest defensive fighter possibly of all time and he is standing flat footed in front of a 175lb guy brushing shots of like flys, throwing 6 shots in a round.
You haters are imbeciles.
Mayweather didn't have a single mark on his face at the end of the fight.
And that uppercut you've been jerking off to, didn't do any damage whatsoever. Floyd didn't move and even smiled after it landed.
