First round was embarrassing for Floyd.
I don't agree...I mean...if Floyd was TRYING to throw and missing or getting tee'd off on? Yeah, that's embarrassing...but he wasn't even throwing punches...
You only have to go back to the Berto fight, to see how differently Mayweather treated this first round...
Mayweather didn't exactly set the world on fire in round 1 against Berto...but you can see he's bouncing and moving and throwing much, much more often...completely different game plan...
why would a white supremacist make manny look good for? and im talking about the constant jokes about how pac fans always have to bring up videos to prove a point.
which is exactly what a floyd fan is doing now idiot! all the other stuff you brought up about spoon is just your reaching for more, im not even gonna get into that with you. im simply talking about "posting videos to prove a point". run along now.
What should we post only hate like you do, haters are germs and a disease in all sports, Spoons edited copy is nothing like this and all I have said is those early rounds were much closer than what we thought.
I know its hard for haters to be honest, that's why they stay out of threads that show Floyd in a positive light.
Haters have no honor.
Judging in the end is simply subjective. You are right a judge can figure out how to give a round based on defense, I simply won't. It is like a football game, you can have an amazing D but if you get 0 points (in boxing you don't land punches) and the other team scores 2 they win.
I think there is also a chance that some of the judges didn't like how may illegal blows Conor was throwing/landing. That might have left a bad impression in their mind. Also, I can't deny that there might have been bias for boxing. Anyways fortunately judging didn't matter as the fight was ended, even Conor said this.
But Golovkin, just another example of why he needs to make it clear on 9/16. He better finish him inside the distance or beat him up so bad that no one can argue Canelo won (and since no matter what you can always find someone to make that argument, well he better finish Canelo).
That's a good point you make about the back of the head punches, the judges may very well had that effect their scoring.
Judging in boxing is always wishy washy and often flawed I don't know why they don't implement trial by camera like other sports, look at Tank Davis given a KO from a clear back of the head shot and I really like Tank as a fighter, its embarrassing to casuals who see a instant replay as plain as day and the opposite is the official verdict, just wrong and in this day and age quite primitive.
I agree with what youre saying to an extent, but by the same token judges do score defense when a guy is being aggressive but not landing they give the defense points, that's a discretionary thing.
The whole purpose of this is to say the judges were not robbing anyone those early rounds were much closer than what even I thought watching the telecast, and it poses the question of what did they see at ringside, Floyd was a boss in this fight.
I agree with the poster saying good angle, I love watching fights like this it actually shows more atmosphere than the dead real telecast.

NO he didn't do much but hard to win rounds win you throw 6, 9 and 12 punches. It wasn't so much McGregor winning rounds as Floyd just giving them to him.

Wow, it's worse than I thought it was. I'd prob score the first 3 for McGregor, just based on activity, but he's not landing anything. He does nothing in this fight. It's not competitive at all. On the broadcast the Showtime guys are really boosting him, maybe because of the ringside view and the reaction from the crowd. The live crews really do feed off the energy in the room.
This is actually a great angle to watch from. I'd be interested in seeing a fight broadcast this was, maybe with angles from a few corners. The extra bit of elevation really helps give you more perspective, of the ring and their hands far from the camera.
This view is like a different fight, Connor didn't hardly touch him first 4 rounds not including rabbit punches.

Glad to see you and all Floyd fans come around and admit Conor was winning the fight. A lot of my friends who are floyd fans called me to congratulate me the day after.
Lmao you didn't even read the OP...or watch the video...
That's all Im asking anyone to do, its not edited and has no commentating everybody that thinks Connor won the first 4 should watch it.
I still think he wins the first 3...but ONLY because activity level...
Mauro Ranallo, Steve Farhood and Al Bernstein did him a service and made him look much better than what he was actually doing. Maybe Showtime hopes to do business with him again if he decides to box again who knows :dunno:
Regardless it is no need to make excuses for Mayweather and it is no need scream robbery or rigged or any of that weird stuff. It was a fun entertainment fight that left most people happy (Well besides Oscar De La Hoya for obvious reasons :lol1:)
Don't know about you fellas but I would pay to see Money take on The Notorious in the octagon. Imagine how crazy the crowd would be seeing Conor use his MMA tactics on Floyd.
I didn't see the real Conor on Aug 26th. He wasn't wild & crazy enough. He wasn't himself that night coz' boxing ain't his game.
I will watch It. Live I thought Mcgregor pulled out the first 4 rounds. Sometimes the view can make a big difference.

I'm still going on record as saying even if you think Conor won rounds 1-3 it's because Floyd let him win those rounds on purpose.
Floyd threw an average of 9 punches total per round in rounds 1-3
Floyd then threw an average of 44 punches total per round in rounds 4-9
Clearly Floyd wasn't trying to win the only rounds in the fight people could give to Conor, and even when Floyd was throwing single digit punches per round Conor still didn't land.
McNugget "peeleft:
Listen just be straight and watch it, is what it is, why you gotta go of some other place just watch this view its very revealing and I can see how the judges might have scored it 2 each in the first 4, no way 4 for Connor no way 4 for Floyd.
Just be honest.

do you have one in mute?? im trying to get the best view of this so i can make up my mind.
I have a button for that, I mute all fights I re-watch.
I gave them 2 each in the first 4.
LMAO, you are one of those clowns who ridiculed the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight being shown at different angles and In slow motion and here you are doing the same thing.

Lol here we go again. Floyd fans giving him rounds because he made the other guy miss but floyd barely did anything offensively and when he threw most of shots missed as well.
Floyd barely landed anything on Conor the 1st 3 rounds. I think 4th round is where he started to connect.
