Agreed, he is not as stupid as he makes himself look!
Maidana vs Floyd just got some more PPV buys!
He's definitely as stupid as he looks. Are you serious?
So you dumbasz flohos think that Floyd has just now made more fans because he supports beating women? :AYWOoD:
They do what they can, right?
Oh great two cunts complaining. The media, like always, takes a story, goes crazy talking about it 24/7 and do their typical witch hunt by bashing anyone who remotely says saying that goes against popular opinion just get people all pissed off, then move on to the next story once it gets stale.
Mayweather is a douchebag but what he said was hardly bad, who gives a ****
"Not that bad"? He said it's not that bad cause worse things go on in other people's houses. That's not bad? He's trying to justify what Ray Rice did, because he does those same things. Is what Ray Rice did "not that bad"? People like you make me sick.
I bet he said it on Purpose too. He knows how to get people to tune in for his fights!
He can't even read, don't give him so much credit.
Kinda hard to fight guys when they don't get in the ring. Quillin doesn't want none, Murray has avoided him as has Sturm. Chavez Jr wanted more money, Martinez is looking low risk-high reward. Who should he fight? It's hard for him to get fights.
Apologize for what?? he fought a dirty ass fight, low blowed, tacked, headbutted, rabbit punched and even tried to throw a damn knee and still lost
Yo, I don't respond on here much, but do get on quite a bit. On behalf of 90% of posters on here, shut the **** up, please. I mean, you seriously don't know **** about boxing, I'm not sure if you're serious or just trolling, but either way, you look ****ing stupid. Stop.
Also, Team Chino!:boxing:
Wait, so...Oscar wants to work with Arum, but he doesn't have the fighters signed to his company, they're signed to Al Haymon who is only an adviser, so technically they are all free agents? This is confusing...what can Oscar do?
You guys are ridiculous, they weren't pros, it's a sport. How do you know they want to do this for a living? They aren't getting paid and it wouldn't affect their future, if there was millions of dollars on the line he wouldn't have stopped, I'm sure. He's a good guy, sportsmanship is first.
Read my very first post here. It was Schaefer doing the work and it was all calculated. He brought the fighters over to GB without having them sign cause he knew what he was doing in the future. He was just temporarily using the company to promote those fighters. Since him or Haymon didn't have a license to promote.
So, I know no one here really knows, wouldn't that be able to be fought in court? Is Haymon even allowed to have those fighters since he's just an "advisor"? Can't they show Schaefer was probably violating his contract by helping other parties that he wasn't contractually signed to while not helping who he did have a contract with?
Whoa...dude, what are you doing? Actually talking about boxing?
But I agree, Cotto has to hook to the body from the beginning, he needs to start fast and test Martinez' age. His defense is better than Sergio's, who isn't all that great defensively. Martinez isn't known for the uppercut, maybe he'll use it since Judah, Margarito and Floyd all did good work with it. If Martinez is 100%, he wins. I don't think he's even close to where he was 2 years ago.
what were the canelo/angulo ppv numbers? :fingersx:
Pretty good, 300k+ for his first wasn't bad.
I don't want to see this fight at all. Why? Canelo has a ****ty trainer who would just tell him to try to box Floyd. I'd be surprised if Mayweather fights at all in September. If he does it'll be a bum.
I dont really know the answer but Id assume yes. I mean, here ANYTHING can be fought in court.
But I believe thats part of Kathy Duva's Main Events lawsuit. She put Dick and Haymon on blast. If you havent read into it, do a quick search on it. Also, theres a rumor circulating now that Oscar plans on suing Dick.
That's true. This is gonna get really ugly. Not sure Golden Boy can survive this.
Canelo will basically be a taller version of Rios that is actually in shape, is actually a great fighter, and will have way more punching power.
So basically it will be nothing like Rios. Canelo would murder him.
:rofl::rofl:
Pretty much this. Canelo would rock this dude. Cotto first though! :boxing:
Few problems with this fight.
1) Ward is not a draw, no one wants to see this guy fight.
2) Ward has been inactive since 2011
3) Ward demands he be the A-side, when GGG is clearly the A-side.
4) GGG is a middleweight and has said on numerous occasions he wants to unify 160.
I have no problem with this fight happening later, I'd rather see Canelo/Cotto fight GGG then see GGG move up to 168, have a fight there, then fight Ward. People who really want to see this fight are people who want GGG to lose.
Lol at Cotto not having a chance. Seriously? He's better than anyone GGG has faced. Another level, really. I think GGG would win, but to say Cotto doesn't have a chance is asinine.
Cotto doesn't get nearly enough credit around here. People discredit the Martinez win and instead focus solely on the Pacquiao, Margarito, and Mayweather losses.
Cotto is an elite fighter and he'd give Triple G one hell of a fight. Whether or not he'd win is irrelevant because it's the most entertaining and challenging fight to be made in the division. You could easily make a case for either guy winning that fight, but you'd be a fool to get caught up analyzing past performances.
Absolutely. Boxing fans are the worst, man. He's on another level compared to Geale and Macklin, GGG's best wins. He's a world class fighter and future hall of famer. He's not a scrub, he would give Golovkin a hell of a fight and has the power to keep him off. He has nice footwork and can stay off the ropes. His problem has always been going the distance, but I think he could still win. Most of these people who say he has no chance give no explanation why except for "he hits hard." smh.
I would be very upset if Floyd tries to fight Cotto at 160. IMO Cotto should just vacate the title. It'd be BS and fit Floyd's MO. Let another guy beat the guy you didn't want to fight, and then beat that guy. You beat both of them, "deductive reasoning".
I've never seen him throw knees and bite. :dunno:
Just elbows, low blows, hold excessively. Come on, man, you can't tell me Bayless let Maidana be himself.
