Fighting a guy coming off a loss to a domestic-level fighter. It's a lose/lose for Golovkin. I guess if keeps the hype train ticking-over, but someone needs to step this guy up to world level.
Geale is ranked 2nd by The Ring above Quillen so he's by far the most credible opponent GGG has faced thus far. Shame that the Chavez fight fell through but it is what it is. I don't think it'd be too long before we see GGG in big fights if he carries on winning.
Yeah those aren't good fighters, who had Barker beaten other than Geale? Barker has been mediocre at European level and Geale lost to him, Sturm was just an old paper champ who feasted on terrible fighters and lived off the robbery against DLH ages ago, dont even get me started on Sylvester and Mundine who both suck. The middleweight division is terrible, one of the worst in boxing.
I agree, it's pretty weak. But you had a top 5 p4p champ struggling vs that caliber of fighter, so it's gotta be worth something
Since when is beating Felix Sturm in Germany, Mundine, Sylvester, Darren Barker (extremely close loss), etc considered trash? All time great resume obviously not but a "trash" fighter doesn't beat guys like that.
People are way to disrespectful on NSB. Geale is a solid fighter, obvioulsy top 5 MW at the moment. Elite, no. Solid, yes.

To watch Golovkin "good boy" another top middleweight and then, to LOL while watching NSB continue to act like he's unproven so they can continue justifying why their favorite fighters are avoiding him like the bubonic plague.
Obviously.
The fact that this will be the best fighter he has ever fought says a lot about GGG.
Yea, says a lot about the bum Geale... a guy who's a unified champion and traveled to the backyard of both titilsts to win them... freaking bum

If it means anything...Geale is rated number 2 at middleweight by the Ring Magazine.
I mean other than Quillin and Murray, Geale is the only legit opponent for GGG at 160. The other two have been actively ducking Golovkin so it's not his fault.

come on are you serious? Geale is a former titlist with some very good wins over in Germany. The guy is skilled, has decent pop and is better than 95% of GGGs previous opponents. Plus he is a top 5 middleweight.
This is a good fight, just appreciate it.
They have to eat...................like everyone else GGG, his team and everyone involved aren't working for nothing. If you fight as a pro you need to fight!!
Maybe he should get a job at the Dairy Queen in town? Or Tire Kingdom?
They do a good job when you consider no one at 160 will sign the dotted line!Ray

If you fight Golovkin, you're a bum... end of story

You have made the mistake of trying to reason with RubenSonny.
Golovkin will likely knock Geale out but Geale is a top 5 middleweight and a very credible opponent.
