no surprise there...canelo was the only fight that made profit for floyd's ppvs under his showtime contract.
Showtimes gonna do a patcut if he cant get Canelo prolly.
But even then you cant expect part 2 to hit those numbers. I'll say 1.5 mil max.
If he fight canelo again....i lose all respect for floyd.....canelo was destroyed in their fight....i dont care how good canelo looks against lara....2 fights ago he was destroyed
destroyed?? lmao!!! outclassed yes but destroyed? not even close.
The earliest that fight could possibly happen is May 2015. September 2015 isn't enough time for Lara to recover from his July fight.
I honestly have no idea who Floyd fights next......
Nothing intriguing really but Maidana is the likeliest which is sad.
what were the canelo/angulo ppv numbers? :fingersx:
Pretty good, 300k+ for his first wasn't bad.
I don't want to see this fight at all. Why? Canelo has a ****ty trainer who would just tell him to try to box Floyd. I'd be surprised if Mayweather fights at all in September. If he does it'll be a bum.
I think Alvarez has a better chance at landing that fight. Not that Mayweather won't want it, too, but I think Alvarez lands it.
You may be right now that the GB shakeup has left things up in the air.
If Floyd fights Lara next I will give him props; until then he can f*ck off

Floyd will just rematch Cotto instead. Bigger fight.

Let's say Cotto beats Martinez and Alvarez beats Cotto.
You bet your ass Mayweather's drooling at the chance to beat Alvarez again, this time for the middleweight title.
If Cotto beats Martinez, I could see Mayweather fighting Cotto again, even though a rematch isn't warranted there either.
I really don't want to see Floyd fighting at Middleweight. He's already solid at 147 but not big by any means, and tiny compared to real 154 fighters. At 160, it'd be like Donaire fighting at 135-140.
