I am truly shocked by your revelations................(sarcasm)
Coming from a guy who can't stop posting about a fighter who has been retired for 30 years now.
Still think Ali needed Allah's help in beating a one-legged, 10-feet-of-itenstine-missing, shot (literally, not figuratively) Cleveland Williams? Still think HW means 170lbs? Cause that's who Ali was fighting back in the "glory days".
ali now is faster than vitali
Wladimir Klitschko...
Everybody told him to retire after the Brewster loss, but he came back to become heavyweight champion! Quite a story...
Oh for God's sake, he would probably make for the worst boxing movie out there. Stop being so ridiculously biased....
I can. And how.:D Lennox didn't wanna fight Wlad. He avoided him and then finally retired before a fight could be negotiated. He also retired because he didn't wanna fight Vitali again. We'll never know who would have won if they had met in their prime, but I believe Wlad would.
Okay fair enough, i can't really comment as the Lennox era was before my time, but Ive watched many of his fights and Wlads aswell, and cant see anyway that Wlad could beat him tbh:boxing:
As much as I'd like to ignore it, LL is a top 10 ATG heavyweight, at least according to his accomplishments. Part of the credit, however, must go to Emanuel Steward for that. Lewis would never be as great a fighter without him, I stand firmly behind that.
10 greatest heavyweights ever IMO:
1. Joe Louis
2. Muhammad Ali
3. Rocky Marciano
4. Evander Holyfield
5. Mike Tyson
6. Joe Frazier
7. Wladimir Klitschko
8. Lennox Lewis
9. Sonny Liston
10. Riddick Bowe
10 greatest European heavyweights:
1. Wladimir Klitschko
2. Lennox Lewis
3. Vitali Klitschko
4. Joe Bugner
5. Andrzej Golota
6. Ingemar Johansson
7. Zeljko Mavrovic
8. Oleg Maskaev
9. Frank Bruno
10. Henry Cooper
It's your opinion, and i respect that, but im just curious as to how you can rate Wlad above Lennox?
The Sun newspaper says Haye is 6 foot 5
Wouldnt surprise me, if Vitali is really 6ft 8. I remember them being side by side after Haye-Barrett and no way is there 5 inches between them.

Watched it over and over, Cotto didn't land much, in the middle of the ring, Cotto lost almost every exchange, he did his thing when he had Clottey against the ropes but again, didn't land much. Clottey made a great point, when he said, "How could I lose the last 2, when Cotto ran", if you watch that fight, you'll see that Cotto straight out ran the last two. It was damn near impossible to land.
I'm not gonna shit on Cotto, that isn't the Cotto I'm used to seeing. I came up with 3 conclusions,
1. Cotto had an offnight.
2. Margarito ruined Cotto.
3. Maybe Clottey is that damn good.
I was leaning towards number 2.
Or... 4. Not being able to see out of one of his eyes maybe affected his performance
Really, Cotto an elite fighter? Elite fighters are warriors that doesn't quit like a wet chicken.
Cotto's fans are only ricans, unlike Pacquiao, Ali, Dela Hoya, to name a few who have followings from all over the world.
Uhhhh I'm not Rican, and hes my favourite boxer
Good post. :fing02:
When they lose, I hope it's to a better man than David Haye. If Wlad were to lose to that loud-mouthed fudge-packer, it would ruin his legacy.
But I'm confident Wlad will knock him out!
are u a Klitschko fan? Because I think people in this forum underestimate the things that the Bros are doing for the HW division..They are at least carrying that HW titles..Would u rather see these Bros carrying the titles or would u just rather see the HW scraped out of boxing totally? There is still hope for the next great HW..There would be a lot of drama if someone beats one of the Bros then fights the other Bro..that would definitely be huge chapter of the already great boxing history
you definately havent been here long lol
