I think George Foreman said Lennox Lewis is THE best heavyweight of all time during the Lewis vs Tyson bout, although he might have been caught in the moment who knows, but personally I put Lewis in the top 10 without question.
Says you. And if you really think Lewis is stronger than Wlad, then you obviously don't know anything about Ukrainian and Soviet fighters and athletes-they are the strongest in the world!
prime lewis kills prime wlad
whether you agree or not,its true
lewis has a better resume than tyson
end ofAgreed
Holmes, duh. And which HOF fighter apart from the aged Holyfield with heart problems and faded Tyson did Lewis beat??Holmes was 60 years old when he fought tyson you cows cunt:rofl:

What the hell are you on?! Tyson beat Spinks, Tubbs, Holmes, Tucker, Thomas...Lewis beat an aging over the hill Tucker on points. He is the same size as Tucker while Tyson had a six inch height and eleven inch reach disadvantage!
Please tell me what HW HOF fighter tyson beat ???
And if you say spinks i am gonna
As much as I'd like to ignore it, LL is a top 10 ATG heavyweight, at least according to his accomplishments. Part of the credit, however, must go to Emanuel Steward for that. Lewis would never be as great a fighter without him, I stand firmly behind that.
10 greatest heavyweights ever IMO:
1. Joe Louis
2. Muhammad Ali
3. Rocky Marciano
4. Evander Holyfield
5. Mike Tyson
6. Joe Frazier
7. Wladimir Klitschko
8. Lennox Lewis
9. Sonny Liston
10. Max Schmelling
10 greatest European heavyweights:
1. Wladimir Klitschko
2. Lennox Lewis
3. Vitali Klitschko
4. Max Schmelling
5. Andrzej Golota
6. Ingemar Johansson
7. Zeljko Mavrovic
8. Joe Bugner
9. Frank Bruno
10. Henry Cooper
wlad klitschko above lewis
is this tunney?
because if not i assume you are joking

How anyone can have Tyson at five is be honed me:wtf1:
On what basis would you have Tyson higher than Lewis ??
Lewis beat much better fighters than Tyson ever did !
Someone please explain ??
wlad is a second rate version of lennox, methodical, leads off the jab, great physical attributes(in prime), but lennox has more variety in his punches, (atg jab as wlad does and best uppercut in hw history. he had a better jaw than wlad and the things that wlad will never have is victories over other atg and avenge his losses.
in the question of lewis top ten definetly, not sure wheres in top 10 would even be 1 or 2 if tyson, holyfield fights were earlier, fought bowe(not his fault) didn't take rahman lightly (mcall great game plan) but in prime agaisnt anyone i would place him in top 3 with ali and tyson
Abso-f*cking-lutely.
Well I'm glad about that, cos there's one or two clowns on the History section, who are suggesting otherwise.. I think this thread illustrates the facts..
Wlad wasn't in the picture? Hello...what are you smoking??? In 2002 Wlad was on the top! He had beaten Mercer and McCline, the first man to beat Big Time. He may have been ko'd in 2003, but Lewis knew very well who he was and how good he was before that, I'd say around 2000 when he ko'd previously unko'd Monte Barrett and beat Chris Byrd on POINTS!
Link or shut the fuck up...Your opinion means nothing to me!
of course he deserves to be in the top 10, at first i thought this list was should lewis be in the best boxers regardless of weight class!! lewis being in the top 10 is a given and imo a better question would be should he be in the top 5?
heres my top 10:
1 - Ali
2 - Louis
3 - marciano
4 - lewis
5 - holmes
6 - frazier
7 - foreman
8 - holyfield
9 - liston
10 - dempsey
Lewis was one of the greatest, he should be high up on anyones all time Heavyweight list. You can't fault his career. Power, jab, chin (oliver mccall one he got up before count of 10, and rahman's was a perfect punch, watch the Vitali fight and then say he has a shit chin). Physically he was a monster and he was deceptively fast.
You amaze me with your lack of knowledge about boxing history. It's a well known fact that he ducked Vitali and a lesser known fact that he ducked Wladimir. Now go smoke a joint.
Dont give me this bullshit...Go smoke a joint?...Are you suppose to offend me with that lame ass shit:rofl:...What I do know is that Lennox wanted to retire while on top...Dont come to me like you know more about the situation...Its clear as day that you're a nuthugger...Vitali couldnt even KO an overweight Lewis and you want me to believe that he ducked Wlad who wasnt even in the picture at the time? Get the fuck outta here with this shit...Show me a link or proof that Lennox backed out of a fight with Wlad before Lennox retired.
