Boxing is won off rounds, not total punches loaded. Just like the election the popular vote means nothing, it's about winning the individual states. Communication depicts a picture on what is happening during the bout based of the majority of several eyes. One thing that is clear, Floyd lands clean punches, his opponents barely do. We can only judge by what is seen, and what is seen is that Floyd is 49-0 and has only been outlanded in one fight.
How is Joshua a fraud, moron, when he is younger, has had less fights, yet has a better resume than both Wilder and Fury?
Joshua doesn’t have a better resume than Wilder or Fury. They fought each other. That eclipses anyone Joshua has fought this far including 41 year old Wladamir. I actually give Joshua some credit for fighting Miller. Miller isn’t an mister puncher, but he is a very big strong guy. He will make Joshua work hard. Miller will absorb Joshua’s punches far better than anyone else he has faced due to that size advantage.
I hate to say it. But Tyson Fury is the true lineal champion. The man that beat the man. Deaunta is the heavyweight crusher and Joshua. Yea, he’s a hoe.lol
Sorry, but Fury beat the man and became the man. Joshua best an untitled Wldamir. That’s doesn’t not make him them man. I don’t like Fury, but His nuts are much larger than Joshua’s.
That’s sounds like a cop out for AJ. AJ hasn’t wanted no smoke with Wilder. He could have easily made this fight happen. I remember the YouTube video asking for 50 million and the punking put once the offer was there.
65-35 and this fight would have already happened. If it does a million buys, which I doubt, Wilder may be the bigger fighter. Canelo v. GGG sold about a million PPV buys. A million buys would dramatically shift who gets the lions share Eddie.
It wasn’t a draw. He knocked Fury out. Fury had been down for more than the allowed time. The ref even touched him while he was on the canvas to wake him up
Which fighter would you have rather been when the bell sounded. Sorry, I would not want to see my head getting bounced off the canvas like that. I’m just saying. Fury did win more rounds, it he got blasted. The ref gave him a 15 count to recover. Ignore the commentators. Who score each round for Fury including the first, where he did nothing.
60-40 is a fair split. The fight will be huge. I would expect about 2 million PPV buys in the Us alone. We could see comparable numbers in the UK. Joshua would easily pocket 50 million.
This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Mayweather's last fight had a guarantee of 32 million. With expectations of reaching 50-60 million. Mayweather was still getting paid from the Hatton after when he returned to fight Marquez two years later. Manny however is being raped by Bob Arum, and doesn't even make half of what Floyd does. Yes Pac does have endorsements, but they are small. I doubt he's even receiving more than 100,000/year from and major endorser.
It doesn't take a lot of punching power to drop a guy when he doesn't see the punch coming. Mayweather easily outpoints Pavlik, a good example of what this fight would resemble is Spinks vs Taylor, only difference is Mayweather will land and Pavlik won't. If Pavlik hits him the fight could end, but most of Pavlik KO's come from the jab followed by the right hand, a sequence that would never land against Floyd.
Jones beats hopkins the same 8 rounds to 4. Even at this stage Jones is better than Hopkins, he always was. Thats why he avoided the rematch for the last decade.
I can't remember a victory that Floyd did not thank God for. So to make the statement that he carries himself as if he is above God is false. He carries himself as the person who didn't have it handed to him, but had to go and get it. Oscar De La Hoya was given Glory, Floyd had to earn it. He's doing nothibng wrong by throwing money into crowds, it's his money. He can do whatever he pleases to do with it. If you was in the crowd and you came out with a few hundred dollars I don't think you would complain about it. He's not obligated to fight anybody out there, It's his life, something you must understand. If you feels that he's the best so he needs to fight the top contenders then that is your opinion, and if he doesn't then judge his legacy by that. Remember this, boxers don't get endorsements or advertising contracts, they have to elevate themselves, and the way Mayweather is doing it, is going to make him very wealthy.
lol, that is a great one
Mosley had sex with his bodyguard (The KO ARTIST) 10 minutes before the fight, therefore his knees were weak. And he was still emotionally stressed from his divorce.
For those of you complaining about the decision. Fury won the most rounds, but could have been stopped. He got dropped twice and survived. His corner visibly celebrated the decision of the draw when it was announced. Both most importantly, the heavyweight division is back. I can’t wait to see the rematch between them. AJ can wait. Afterward, we can get a unification bout. There is still Miller, Ortiz, Whyte, Parker sitting right outside of the trifecta. We should have some great fights. I believe Fury should have lost, but if he did, there would only be one interesting fight left in the division.
Can't believe Evander would complain about holding. Every time Tyson tried to let his hands to be held on for life. Maybe he was rooting for steroid users, many don't know that he was also on the juice.
Floyd has the better resume. Floyd is undefeated. Floyd won in 5 weight classes. Floyd made more money. Floyd was dominating at 34 when Roy was getting knocked out. Jones was not a clean athlete and had positive test results: http://www.espn.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=2782402. With that being said, No one has ever came close to Roy Jones' peak. However, greatness is a measure of all factors. Mayweather had a peak that lasted 15 years. Roy's peak was just a few.
I’m fan Errol Spence fan. That fight was close. Brook May have been winning, but who cares. Winning rounds or not, Errol made Brook quit. Save the injury excuses. A rematch doesn’t make sense at this point. Spence gains nothing for beating Brook again. Brook should look to fight other top welters and win to make a rematch possible. He will quit again.though
Trash. AJ is trash. Parker is trash. Hearn is trash. Please keep AJ out of the ring with Wilder. If they ever fought, Wilder would get a life sentence for Capital Murder and a hate crime.
Only and idiot would think the fight should have been stopped. If Ortiz couldn’t stop Wilder then why should the referee. He allowed Wilder to continue and Ortiz couldn’t get the job done. The purpose of stopping the fighter is to save a beaten man. This fight is a perfect example of why fights should not be stopped by a referee. If we want to protect the fighters then put an end to combat sports. Boxing is a dangerous sports that’s why the top athletes are paid millions to compete. Yes, people do die in the ring. The last guy died after winning the fight. There would have been a ton of Contoversy if this fight was stopped. Many would have said there is no way he could handle AJ’s power. Who buy the way was awarded a premature stoppage against Wlad. Boxing is the hurt business and Wilder put a hurting on Ortiz in the 10th.
Fury got stretched. He seen the replay. He knows the fight was over and. The ref allowed him to steal additional time to recover when he should have been counted out. Plain and simple, he doesn’t want any smoke.
I wish Sanchez would shut up. GGG is straight up and down and has struggled everytkme he fought a fighter with any IQ and boxing skills. Fighters are not there to absorb punishment, they are there to give it. I could careless about who won the first fight. The only thing clear was Canelo landed the harder shots in the fight and showed some defense. He tired in the middle rounds as he has done throughout his career and GGG has been strong in the middle rounds throughout his. I’m picking Canelo. Easy money.
True ****. I've watched the fight many times and Mayweather really put it on Cotto's ass. Cotto fought well and won 2 rounds, 3 at best. But im now a Cotto fan, because he didn't quit.
Ward is a coward. He was ready to run after being gifted a decision against Kovalev. Wilder should fight the rematch with Fury. That’s called daring to be great. If he looses again, then he can call it a day. If he wins, they can fight another two times. He will need to put on much more weight. Can’t be outweighed by a skilled fighter 40-50 lbs.
He has a point. Mayweather attempted to fight Manny, but there were needle problems and he got plenty of credit for fighting him. Over 250 million dollars worth of credit. I don't agree with Mayweather on this. I belive that Canelo should fight him at 155. If GGG can't make the weight, only then should he wait. He should wait until he's comfortable fighting bigger guys.
