As an English Degale fan this is a fucking disgrace. I'm so sick of this. For YEARS they've been doing this. Fucking bull****, they're going to ignore this or make excuses for this cunt ref. So sick of this shit.
If I was a foreigner I'd never come to England to fight. Where's the ****ing sportsmanship?
Degale gives Froch a ton of trouble. If Froch vacates then him and Eddie Hearn can get fucked.
Fair play to Carl Froch for his performance tonight though.
No one in their right mind thinks Froch is scared of DeGale, but I don't have a problem with DeGale saying this. He's just doing everything he can to get the fight. And since he has already beaten an OK opponent in an eliminator, I would say he's a deserving challenger. Froch doesn't owe him a fight though.
Exactly, he's just trying to rile Froch up to get him to bite.
Froch does owe him a fight however because Degale's his mandatory.
Degale= Dominated Groves in those last seven rounds or so but got nothing
Eubank jr= Took over the fight after the 4th round tonight, the commentators on the radio including ex fighters Steven Collins and Richie Woodhall all had Chris winning the fight
They're mixed race you absolute fucking spastic.
Why are people so fucking obsessed with race? everything has to be about race with cunts like you.
Lol....it seems that no one has picked up on the comments about Vince. He always came across as a complete tosser but never expected to hear that stuff.
Is there any evidence besides what Bellew said?
Lol....it seems that no one has picked up on the comments about Vince. He always came across as a complete tosser but never expected to hear that stuff.
Not that I know of.
The whole situation with Cleverly leaving his dad and then briefly going to Adam Booth before going back to Wales to train with someone who used to work under his dad does seem odd.
I just remembered too that Cleverly postponed his comeback 2 or 3 times with "injuries". Perhaps he was still struggling with the booze?
This has been the most intriguing part of Cleverly-Bellew for me....lol I don't even care about the fight.
The fight should be reasonably entertaining because they both get hit. But the real show will be Periban vs. DeGale. That's the biggest fight on the card in terms of talent.
Groves will continue to run from the rematch almost as bad as he ran in the fight.
He wouldn't get a 3rd straight gift decision and he knows it.
DeGale should focus on climbing those WBC rankings and getting a shot at Bika.
For what it's worth I largely agree with you.
He's pretty clearly tied to the Bosch clinic, and Major League Baseball is planning to suspend certain players also tied to this same clinic for 100 games. Bosch even gave him a note, when he was scheduled to fight Brandon Rios, when he should "Start cleanup".
This article that ran in yahoo sports yesterdaystates " could admit to using all sorts of performance enhancers, but as long as he provides a clean sample following Saturday's bout, he has nothing to fear in terms of suspension, now or ever."
If boxing was serious about stopping drug cheats, they would blackball him. With a win over Perez, there's even talk of him receiving an interim title. Give me a break!
It isn't. If someone gets suspended by one governing authority they can apply for a license from any number of others, they won't test year round and there's no extra money gained by cleaning up the sport. No incentive to test and incapable of enforcing punishments.
It's never going to happen in our lifetimes.
I had Degale winning the first fight and I felt he made some adjustments towards the latter stages of the contest, he probably wouldn't have as bad a start in a rematch. Degale ud.
This idea that Eddie Hearn is the saviour of British boxing is slowly being exposed.
Who has Ricky Burns been fighting since he went to Hearn? And now he wants to put Anthony "2 Dollar" Crolla in with him for the world title? :lol1:
Who has Groves been fighting? Who is Quigg fighting? Kell Brook is rematching Jones, Bellew rematched Chilembas. Froch won't fight Ward.
Yet Warren continues to get stick. He's putting Chisora in with Malik Scott and originally wanted Wilder. Cleverly is facing Kovalev. He offered Quigg big money for a fight with Frampton.
Nobody can really accuse Warren of protecting his fighters too much after he made that Kovalev fight. Cleverly is a pretty big underdog.
I don't remember Ward crying about a potential (but ultimately unrealised) fight with Dirrel, despite them being friends. I hate this "I can't fight my friends" bullshit.
someone red k this guy for me please i cant do it
I green k'd him to spite you.
edit: also, barry, broner sucks monkey dick. Do a video on 17th century northern european architecture, not this spastic chump.
Ushamane or something? It was a close fight I think people was more enraged by how wide the judges had it.
The fact that the judges had the intention of robbing him is bad enough, even if it was close. All I remember of that fight is Vassel walking forward and landing fuck all.
Let me get this straight.. kovalev, the man who is yet to fight for a title and has only one meaningful win on his resume (campillo) has seen fighters like hopkins (a true legend who is several levels above aforementioned campillo) before?
Meanwhile hopkins, who had dozens of title fights, has been a top fighter for two decades and boxed just about as many world class fighters as anyone in the sport hasnt seen anything like kovalev before?
Are you for real?
Look man, kovalev looks great. It really seems like he is the real deal. But its one thing to look great against the likes of cornelius white, being competetive let alone beating a man who is not only one of the best at 175 but one of the best fighters ever.. now thats something entirely different.
Hopkins is proven at a level kovalev is yet to compete at. Until he has we dont know what potential flaws he might have and hopkins is a master of exposing flaws not to mention neutralize strenghts.
But none of that is relevant atm, lets just see if kovalev can hang with the elite at 175, until then dont make ludicrous claims of him knocking out legends.
It's worth keeping in mind that Gabriel Campillo would have been a world champion if he hadn't been robbed. Campillo was comfortably one of the best in the division and Kovalev's TKO of him shouldn't be overlooked just because he had some undeserved official "losses".
I wonder if Toney has some disorder if he was just given unlucky genes, because he seems like he loves to box but not enough to work off the fat..
Toney had low testosterone levels. Lots of boxers have this problem due to damage to the pituitary gland. It would have made it more difficult to lose fat.
I think he eventually took some supplements as well, which would have allowed him to pack on muscle and move up to the higher weights.
Not sure about Booth with Andy Lee, Booth likes his boxers to move around a lot & thats Lee's weakness, he has terrible foot work & circles to the left all the time....easy for pressure fighters to look good against him.
Lee will still beat Barker though.
Don't underestimate barker. he's above lee's level.
Any possible enjoyment I could get from broner megafights in the future would be eclipsed by the satisfaction I would feel from watching him get knocked out by rees.
So even though it might risk derailing the career of a big prospect I'd happily see broner lose badly. He's just that much of a cunt. I don't care about a bit of lip before a fight but don't run your mouth if you're a moron with zero charisma like broner.
It's legit check his FB youself. His profile is public...

It says he went to Yale and can speak afrikaans, hebrew and arabic. I think it's fair to say it's not trustworthy.
Boxing is probably more popular world wide. I mean ali and tyson are VASTLY more famous then any american football player and it's not even close. American football is probably still more profitable despite it being very limited in terms of its international appeal.
Ray Lewis DEFINES the LB position...cut from the BEST cloth that NFL players are cut from...Ray was a animal...in soccer, Ray would be Pepe :lol1:
The problem with this is football (soccer...) actually requires technical ability. A lot of americans are under the impression that american footballers are somehow the pinnacle of sporting ability. What they seem to forget is that the vast majority of the players have almost no technical abilty or mental acuity and are selected largely on their physical abilities. A lot of those players are probably to spastic to do a proper sport regardless of their size or speed. They may be a tall and as fast as ibrahimovic but to have his technical ability as well? You'll struggle to find many american sports stars with that combination. Not to mention that american football doesn't even select for things like stamina, they run about 0.19 miles in a match, which is nothing compared to other sports.
