Two undefeated British prospects, both very good amateurs.
Gavin is the more skilled, better boxer but Vassell is a hungry, supremely strong and conditioned hard man.
This will be a good fight.

Vassell broken jaw. It's over.
Gavin wins via doctor stoppage.
Did Vassell get red carded or thats only a Mexican thing? :lol1:

Fair do's to Gavin he kept calm and proved he deserves the title. Bad luck for Denton he really must improve his defence. The Rios defence does not suit at all.
Was really dissapointed in Vassell, he looked flat. Bunce said he may have broken his jaw as early as the second round, but even in the first i said he wasnt fighting the fight i expected him to fight.
His defence in the fights ive seen of his is generally his headmovement, which was seriously lacking tonight. Gavin timed him at will

abraham was a world class, championship level boxer. this dude was not.
that said, they stop fights too quick in the UK. they always have.
Rightly so after what happened to McClellan.

A remnant of the nineties unfortunately with the Michael Watson and Mcclellan incidents. Gets frustrating at times.
who decides whether or not to pull a fighter out when they break their jaw? There weren't any doctors pulling out abraham when he broke his jaw

For those saying Gavin looked very tired early on, don't really agree with that. He fought a scrappy fight but I don't think he looked shattered at any stage.
Saying that, he still looks like his fitness could be sharpened up a bit.
Good win for Gavin, not pretty but he did what he had to do and countered nicely at times.
FFS had a bet on Gavin by decision and thats where it was going.
Poor fight though, clinchy and not much happening. Gavin showed some good skills though.
Also i dun told y'all about the southpaw stance f*ckin Denton up tactically!

He even said it didn't hurt.
