**** what people have to say about floyd's legs------especiallu freddie roach---don't you guys and gals see the irony in all of this---including manny's groupies and freddie roach?
floyd gets called a "runner" in the ring---yet, when he fights shane toe to toe and walks him down, his legs are all of a sudden gone? so, basically, freddie is saying, well, floyd doesnt "run" anymore, so just like oscar, hatton, and cotto, who were standing targets for manny, and come forward fighters, manny will ko floyd all of a sudden----so once again, floyd is in a lose-lose situation---he'll get bashed if he so called "run" and uses his legs, or he'll be ko'ed if he doesn't "run" and use his legs----the kid can't win for some reason-----
and then manny's fans once again take freddie's words as if he's the pope or somebody----
they just said floyd runs too much, and he moved a lot in the marquez fight, yet dominated him, and manny is the same size as jmm----so why would they think floyd wouldn't move and make manny miss, and frustrate him? jmm countered manny just like floyd countered jmm and frustrated manny to the core----floyd dominated jmm doing this----
then he dominated shane walking him down-----and didn't move as much, now his legs or gone---i really want you manny fans and freddie and even manny himself to keep believing this---you guys base floyd's legs off of one fight one minute, then base him getting ko'ed off of another fight, the next minute---which one is it?
have you guys and girls ever sat down and thought rationally for a minute that maybe, just maybe, floyd fights according to his opponent's style------maybe shane has been walked down before and has had trouble fighting going backwards in the past, just like manny, and maybe, that's why floyd decided to walk him down, and not move so much, and he did it brilliantly---you people ever think about that? i bet not huh?
posters on this forum have gotten to where as a fighter has got to fight like they always do to make a fair assessment of their next fight---and it doesn't work that way folks----
floyd has not remained undefeated by so called "running" every fight and using his legs every fight---he has fought in the pocket, fought and countered off of the ropes, walked fighters down----used his defense, elbows to create distance, used his opponents' movement against them-----he's versatile---he makes adjustments like he did with zab and shane and corley and de la hoya and hatton---and you get the rest----floyd is the best, rather you people want to see it or not-----admit it or not---i really don't give a shit-----
freddie is suppose to see a flaw in his fighter's opponents----so, he can believe that all he wants to---he saw in floyd when he trained oscar for him, and oscar still lose didn't he? is manny undefeated? no----is floyd undefeated? yes-----so there's a way to beat manny----and nobody has found a way to defeat floyd yet, have they? yes, nobody has found a way to do so, so let freddie believe in this---it's his job and right----
but, when it's all said and done, it's manny vs floyd----manny can't run anymore from floyd-----he has to get in there and get that ass taxed----and this will happen----
Well said pbftxrs316. I agree with you 100%. It seems like "fans" take what someone says and believes everything that person says. It's every trainers job to come up with a strategy to beat their opponent. It's also their job to speak out to the media and pre-hype a potential fight and boost interest from the public. Every trainer, coach, strategist or whatever you want to call them will say that they have the perfect gameplan, but it's all up to the fighters when it's all said and done.
Fighters, especially the ones who have lost before or who are pretty much set in their ways, may play out a gameplan to the tee in the beginning. But if something doesn't go right, most of them will panic and result back to their old ways which was a perfect example last Saturday night. Sure, we all want out "FAVORITE" fighter to win, and we all speculate about how the victory will occur, but again when it's all said and done, it will be up to the fighters. Fans, parents, commentators, CEO's, promoters, cutmen, bodyguards, 24/7, cameramen, entertainers, rap or R&B singers, haters or anyone else cant fight for these two. It will be only them in the squared circle, and the best fighter "THAT NIGHT", will be victorious.
Everyone have a great day....
