Broner is trying too hard.. he's not a sh1t talker, everything he says is corny.. Its more obvious than ever he is trying to imitate Floyd...but it ain't workin homie.
Floyd was never proper 154 champ let alone the best. If he wants recogniion he needs to step up to the plate and get in line to face Canelo.
Firstly though i think Floyd needs to beat Trout to qualify for canelo.
You sound like an idiot.
Floyd just "met " with Pacquiao to safe face since he was being pressured to fight.
Just the week before Floyd was saying "WHy meet with Pacquiao? He's not a Boss"
Fans see right through the smoke.
Ah shut up...The fight is on!
for the love of all that is holy, mayweather pacquiao needs to happen so that everyone shuts the **** up.
Good day sir, who is the woman in your sig? That azz look rite.
Broner-Pac would not be competitive.. And does this mean that Broner that move up to welterweight to fight Pac?? Not happening...but I would pick Broner over Alvarado, he's just not that good to me. Rios could possibly wear Broner down in the later rounds.
It was a tune up fight after taking a year off and Rios was former world champion with good power and world class chin. Alot of you floidiots said Rios would win and look what happened, not even close. No less of a fight than mayweathet fighting Guerrero or maidana who each never really did a whole lot except get a decent win the winter before the may mayweather date. Rios had a good resume and so did algieri. Not the best but who else was available not signed to haymon? He fought Tim Bradley in the middle and that was a more dangerous opponent and a bigger win than mayweather has had in 10 years or more. Pacquiao is not fighting Vargas next unless he somehow beats a big name on the headline of an HBO televised card which by the way both Rios and algieri did, and I'd be willing to bet all the points I accrue up until the day of pacwuiaos next fight
How is it a tune up fight when they fought for a belt? They fought for a vacant belt at a weight class that Rios had never fought before....which I don't know how you fight for a belt immediately after getting Knocked out. Rios was ranked #7 at Jr. Welterweight, while Pacquiao was ranked #7 at welterweight....SMH.
And anybody who picked Rios over Pacquiao is an idiot. If Rios was really a threat or was a real welterweight, pacquiao would've made him fight at a catchweight... But, HBO has standards tho.
They invited the WBO too but the WBO refused to participate in this.
I think they'll regret it at then end of the day and the value of their title will drop, but we'll see.
From my understanding, the WBO belt is basically a Top Rank belt... I agree they will regret it eventually.
All bias aside, what are the chances Pacquiao/Roach somehow changes their game and strategy? What if Pacs waits for Floyd for the first 1-3 rounds to see how Mayweather is going to approach the fight and then make the adjustment from that point on? By wait I mean not come out out of the gate guns blazing like he always had, but play it cool throwing fewer punches that his norm and then attack (mid rounds to the end) once Mayweather is fully engaged in the notion that he can walk Manny down?
Is that feasible?
Anyone?
I think it's feasible, given how it would be unpredictable. But, he also poses the risk of allowing Floyd to get comfortable, controlling distance and setting traps.
Didn't Manny fight Mosley and Hatton on that date? Must be a lucrative weekend for boxing... So why should Floyd gives up that date to allow two fighters that he's already beaten have it? Why is it all of a sudden disrespectful now?
Slighty off topic, Anybody played fight night champion, playing it now. Anyone else notice how bad pacquiao is. Hes got a 93 rating but he is impossible to win with. Pisses me off so much
I play fight night Champion all the time. If you can't win with Pacquiao on that game, then you just suck IMO. You have to fight with him in the game just like he fights in real life- Ambush style. What system are you on?
