In spite of the fact that the testing is far behind the drugs being used, do you think anything will be said about the fact that Manny never got involved in the different testing methods that were being used by other boxers? (USADA, VADA).
Even if it was just posturing I think he could have really struck a blow to Floyd's testing demands if for any other fight he had testing done. In your opinion why do you think they never went this route?
Floyd tested positive three times and it didn't even stir any ripple in the mainstream media. And here are these clowns telling me Pacman's legacy is tainted because of the testing issue. The accusers had four years to prove his guilt in court. Nothing. Pacman was on 60 minutes honoring him. Same show with a Barack Obama segment. I was waiting for the peds issue to come up there was none. If you want a definition of mainstream, it's 60 minutes. Keep fooling yourselves, though.
I think this never did anything in the mainstream media because no solid proof every came out that this happened. I remember Gabriel Montoya claimed to have NSAC sources to substantiate the 3 failed test claim but nothing else came from it. I honestly can't recall, did anyone other than Gabriel offer any evidence to support his claim? Did he ever talk about what happened to his sources?
Really my question is what evidence do you look at with this 3 failed test situation that makes you believe it is 100% true? Now I'm not saying this is false clearly their have been some cover up attempts in the sport. I just wonder what makes you believe this so strongly with such little evidence?
Mainstream Media like ESPN and Fox Sports wont care about the testing stuff 20 years from now.
BUT US BOXING JUNKIES TYPING AWAY ON OUR BOXING FORUMS WILL STILL BE ARGUING ABOUT IT.
IT WILL BE A TIMELESS DEBATE MUCH LIKE TITO VS OSCAR, TYSON OVERRATED, ROY JONES OVERRATED

Not a big deal .... I have no problem agreeing with you that it may have had something to do with Marquez and now Rios hiring the controversial "conditioning coach" Heredia who admitted to cheating ..... but didn't Heredia say that he is ahead of the game when it comes to beating any form of the current testing protocol?
Yeah thats the other side to this that does make you wonder what can be done. Even if these guys are starting to take tests if the latest and greatest drugs can already bypass those tests then what else could be done.

I don't think Floyd Mayweather jr accuse Manny Pacquiao of taking PED while they were negotiating for the fight, they came together to make the fight, Team Pac made their demands while Team Mayweather also made its demand. The accusation blew up due to Pac accepting then going back and refusing which made the whole episode look suspicious.
They were doing it well before the negotiations started ... go check out Floyd Sr interviews for starters .... Floyd Jr, Roger and Floyd Sr would pretty much say the same things .... they were all accusing.
No ideas? lol. Well I think he does feel a certain way about how Marquez performed in their last fight but rather than making accusations (not smart) he would rather start having testing be apart of his fights.
People need to realize that there is NO other sport where the charge to test its participants have been led by the participants themselves. This is not commissions or sanctioning bodies promoters or managers calling for better testing these are the fighters themselves. I am glad to see Manny join the movement just wondering what took him so long.

Whatever the reasons were, unlike Floyd, Manny did not accuse his opponent of taking PEDs before signing a contract. Yes there have been several issues/rumors on USADA of late but can't say if that was the reasoning behind going with VADA.

Manny could've taken the test like he said he would, could've beaten the test and beaten Floyd, and today he would be hailed as the god of boxing throughout the entire world.
Buut..
He instead chose to forgo the testing, and to become a guinea pig for a Marquez right hand.
Well it took JMM right hand to open his eyes so its a good humbling thing in the end.

So in your opinion what do you think made Manny decide now was a good time to incorporate testing into his fights? What statement do you think he is trying to make? Also he chose VADA over USADA which seems in line with the earlier talks that he didn't trust the USADA.

Yes and those rumors have yet to be substantiated or confirmed.
Xylocaine or lidocaine is not illegal in Nevada so I didn't question it.
No. I was simply responding to the post CGARCIA made. You, he and other fringe manny fans have always asked "why didn't floyd request testing before?". SO since manny is finally asking for testing, I posed that question to his fringe fans to see if they (including you) could answer it. I bet now you realize how stupid it was in the first place.
No, because I find the OST he and others use starting from training to be sufficient, especially since people are getting caught.
No. Floyd fights once a year because he can afford to given the large amount of money he makes. Just beause manny's fringe fans or floyd haters connect that to PED usage doesn't mean I will acknowledge it. Frankly, the retarded republicans that say Obama was born in Kenya are more credible.
Again, no. you asked this above. He asked manny because he thought he might be cheating. Now I know you see manny as an infalable god-but others see him as he really is-a human being who is a gambling adulterer.
Legal in Nevada? No form of drugs can be administered right before a fight whether they are deemed to be legal or not in that state. How do you feel about Floyd now?
Legal in Nevada? Whatever Manny wanted back then like 24 days cutoff was also beyond the current rules. So did that keep Floyd fans quiet and say it's cool in Nevada then I'm cool with Manny?
Whatever Manny's motivation for taking tests, it had nothing to do with trying to kill a fight. I'm still questioning Floyd because he used that and other roadblocks to try to stop that fight from ever happening. Manny didn't use it in that fashion nor did he accuse his opponent just before signing the contract. Manny vs Rios is signed sealed and delivered. Manny vs Floyd never happened due to accusations made by Floyd with NO PROOF, requesting drug testing for the first time ever, wanting ALL PPV money, long vacations, not wanting to even negotiate ..... and so on.
Floyd wants random testing for about 7-8 weeks. That is NOT sufficient even though they caught a few (some thinking USADA but got caught with VADA). Even more so for those like Floyd that fight once a year or those that sign as replacements with 2-3 weeks notice. Look at Lance Armstrong. He stated that if he knew the time period that testing would be done, it would make it so much easier to defeat the testing. Possibility of being tested all year round at any time, anywhere, makes it a much better test. Look I'm being consistent. I've been saying this for 3+ years and even now that Manny agreed to random testing. I'm not saying its not better than nothing but it's not that good because if it was then there would be no need for OST.
No I'm not saying Floyd fights once a year to defeat the testing. I'm saying that if he did, it would make it even easier for him to do it for at least 44 of 52 weeks.
Manny, Floyd, everyone can be a cheater.
What was wrong was Floyd's approach of accusing with no proof but what makes others question his motivation is that he kept on throwing roadblocks and stating how its not possible that Manny can be so good. So Floyd tried to evade the fight. Again, if it was only the testing, perhaps I could have given him the benefit of the doubt but constantly accusing him, putting other roadblocks can even make Floyd fans call Floyd out!

Did you question Floyd when it was rumored that 3 tests came out positive?
Did you question Floyd when he himself admitted to taking drugs to his hands so that he can hit his opponents harder prior to a fight, which is a no-no?
Did you question Floyd's first 40 fights since he only started doing "his type" of testing after that?
Are you questioning why Floyd was not willing to do like some other fighters who are doing true OST?
Are you questioning Floyd when he fights only once per year and thereby giving him the opportunity to take PEDs for about 44 of 52 weeks since Floyd, going by his made up rules compared to OST, only needs to be concerned about getting tested ONLY for about 8 consecutive weeks period a year?
Did you question Floyd why did he ask only after negotiating to fight Manny and not his first 40 opponents when it was known/rumored way before then that opponents may be taking PEDs?
Yes and those rumors have yet to be substantiated or confirmed.

First of all, Manny was willing to against Floyd but too many roadblocks got in the way.
BUT now this other nonsensical type of questioning made by Floyd fans can be shut down and the next one can begin ............. NOW!
Which I saw it coming a mile away and stated so on numerous other occasions which is "Why now and not then .... hmmmm?"
BUT
my initial statement kinda throws a curveball into that because since DAY 1, Manny said OK to more than was required but they just didn't agree on Floyd rules on the cutoff date .... but like they have since that DAY 1, Floyd fans will avoid those facts like the plague!!!

should we now question all of manny's 60 fights now that he is going to test for the rios fight?

I can't help but to tell you you are a floydiot. You can't tell the difference between refusal and agreement. Pac agreed to Floyd drug testing but Floyd keep changing the cut off date the moment Pac agreed to the first one. Floyd changed his cut off from 14 days, 7 days, 0 days to 100/0 ppv sales.
You're a *******.
It doesn't matter. You think anyone really believes Mayweather ducked the guy that was knocked out by Marquez? Especially considering pac's refusal to agree to random drug testing in the first place.
Choosing Bowe-Lewis is a terrible comparison.

floyd failed tests 3 times?
it sure is more in line if you had addressed the point of the above and not deflect it to pac.....................just saying
Huh? I didn't do anmything the poster I qouted did. Don't blame me for other manny fans ridiculousness,
