too big, too fast, and just too skilled...at any weight, mayweather dominates marquez, even at 130 he was known as a fast, combination, power puncher...but still even if he did lose those two pounds it wouldn't of made a difference.:boxing:
funny...i remember when damn near everyone on hear was hyping up Foreman, saying he was going to stop Cotto lmao..mayorga and chavez jr...poor choices indeed
Tito by KO....when oscar and tito fought, they were both in their primes, when both of them were humiliated by jones and pacquiao, they were both over the hill and washed up..don't bring that "pac would beat so and so because of how so and so looked and got beat by ______ who got ko'd by pac"...****ing stupid logic
titos not gnna get ko'd by a guy that tops out at 147, while trinidad himself could've gone up to light heavy and fought
i love the humor around here lol but seriously, ppl are complaining because its a fight contracted at 150, where both fighters agreed to fight. many see it as margo draining himself to make weight and pacman taking it to his advantage by coming in light:boxing:
Yes he fouled the **** outta judah...
fighting with a cut that nasty against an elite welterweight is bound to cause problems
he took the 0 from pauli and broke his jaw..beat him up worse than hatton and khan but thats the refs fault for not stopping the fight
before the foreman most ppl on here were claiming that feather fisted foreman was gnna rape, murder, and cremate cotto..just shows that ppl were on the bandwagon and didn't a damn thing about cotto..your not going to outbox this man unless your highly skilled like mayweather...and his record proves it
....lets be serious..the guy loses to pacquiao and a suspicious margo and now all of a sudden hes not worth anything? This FIGHTER has given the fans his blood time and time and time again...and you have the nerve to complain?
pointless and stupid. this is the same donaire that ko'd vic back in 2007 WITHOUT VICTOR CONTE...he did it before and he did it again 4 years later when he's just reaching his prime...gfto:fing26:
Looked shot? Ate way too any right hands? few of those punches landed and when they did they didn't faze him..can't believe how ppl forget at how many times he slipped and danced away from Mayorgas assult? Pure pactards just wanting to hate on somebody:lame:
Ward too skilled for Abraham. Andre may have been fighting with a rough style lately, but lets not forget that he's the most skilled in the tourney with the kind of will you only see from foreign fighters, much less American fighters nowadays
this is a must. last nights fight may have been poor but this division is doing the right thing...the "best" fighting the "best" and the loser's fighting each other to determine they're place...back to the old ways
Seriously? 1) Shane has always had problems with boxers. 2) He's never been as good at 154 as he is at 147...FACTS. Those are the two reasons...idc at what age him and floyd fought at, mayweather would've beaten him. Now him and pac at lightweight...pac goes to sleep in the 8th:boxing:
:fing26: somebody remind this idiot that khan dropped Maidana in the first round...and since were doing "ifs" ...if there was more time the fight would've been stopped
The only welterweights I'd give him for credit beating are Cotto and Clottey.
Margarito was beaten to **** by Mosley, suspended for a year, unranked in 154 and looked like garbage in his fight prior to Pacquiao. And Mosley's last good win was Margarito..2 years ago..funny thing though, Roach wouldn't allow pacquiao to fight Mosley while he was the legit champ...and we all know the reason why...however other than those two, his record is great
you really need to watch more fights if you think that punch was lucky...Quintana was landing that punch in his first fight with Williams and Martinez couldn't miss with that punch in the first fight
Well maybe Arum knew his fighter could beat those guys and didn't feel threatened. Arum promotes Pacquiao and knows that Mayweather has the greatest weapon against pacquiao, his counter-punching abilities..:boxing:
This^^^^
GBP did the same thing with Marquez and Mosley.
Basically since Bob had his panties in a bunch when it came to working with GBP, Oscar and Co. stated they would set aside to allow JMM and Shane to get a Pacquiao fight.
But at the time, Arum said "its too soon.."

it'd be more effective against southpaw fighters. the general idea is that southpaws do have trouble defending against the right hand. speaking from experience, it does work against both.
No I don't believe he was. People say "its obvious from the 4th round on"...there goes logic for you. I believe Peterson adapted and found a way to win
Thats not an indirect admission. He's simply implying that Pacquiao is a beast and Rios may need to go through tougher fighters before he's ready for Pacquiao.
Yes. it is extremely beneficial. My gym uses cross fitness with boxing training. we don't use heavy weights except for dead lifting. All of our training is based on endurance for strength and cardio. Explosive exercises are the best for boxing. All the amateurs, including me, greatly improved while there.
your'e joking right? the man had two surgeries on his eye for a BROKEN ORBITAL BONE...the fight was postponed for months because of this...damn boxing fans don't want to look at all the facts or just want to skew it in they're favor
Cotto will be fine. It just reminds me of the size difference with Cotto/Quintana and how skillfully Cotto chopped him down. Body punching will be the key in this fight for Miguel, can't wait to see that return
