It's Bob Arum's fault. If Cotto were able to fight outside of Top Rank we'd be able to see Cotto/Alvarez and Cotto/Ortiz. Instead we get the ****ty Chavez Jr. fight. I guess this would be Cotto going after his fourth belt at a catchweight. Him beating either of the other two guys would be a lot more impressive still.

If Cotto wasn't such a draw it wouldn't be this bad, but Arum is determined to milk every nickle he can out of Miguel as he fades. Remember, in the past eight months Arum has turned down requests for Cotto to fight: Alfredo Angulo Kermit Cintron in PR Sergio ****ing Martinez Those would all be great, great boxing matches. I'm in no way calling Cotto out for turning these guys down, just disappointed he's letting Arum push him in this direction. Honestly, Arum's plans are to milk him in PPVs against Mayorga, then Margarito, and before Marquez stepped up Bob was talking about a Manny Pacquiao rematch. He wasn't someone who started at LW like Cotto and spend a great deal of his career at 140. His power seems to have increased going up and if you look through Sergio's record most of his stoppages and KDs have come against the better names he has faced. Ko% isn't everything you have to look at some of the details behind them. Yeah, but if that guy you being claimed of have more power than, have almost half fights with more KOS than you and fights around the same weight are as you, the guy hits harder than you period!!!!!!
