Talking about Brandon Rios in a recent Boxing Scene article, Bradley had this to say:
“Top Rank’s plans are to put him in there with Pacquiao, but nobody really knows what this kid can do if he fights a fighter like myself,” Bradley would state. “Beating Alvarado, I don’t think that proves he’s ready. But like I said, he’s a good fighter, but I think he needs to fight somebody like myself before he even steps in the ring to fight Pacquiao.”
Thats an indirect admission by Bradley that he felt Pacquiao beat him. He's suggesting that if Rios can't beat him there's no way that he beats Pacquiao. Which, in simple terms, equates to "Pacquiao beat me, if you can't beat me, you can't beat Pacquiao".
Sure, it's triangle theory by Timmy, but an interesting admission nonetheless. It appears as if he's finally accepted that Pacquiao defeated him, even if he hasn't all-out blatantly admitted it just yet.

if he truely felt he won the fight. the words out of his mouth would have been "Mayweather can't beat me, Mayweather will never stop me"
He's not admitting anything. He wants Rios and doesn't think Rios deserves a Pac shot. Bradley still regards Pac as one of the best, and since he can't fight Pac why not be the door Rios has to go through to get Pac and maybe when Bradley wins he gets his rematch.
But in no way does that quote indirectly indicate Bradley thinks he loss. He understands what the Public and his Promoter thinks but Bradley believes he won.
Feel kind of bad for Tim. He didn't ask for the robbery the (obviously corrupt) judges put him in a really crap position.
The problem is that Tim and his trainer keep saying that he doesnt understand why critics are blaming him for the decision. The critics arent blaming him for the decision. They're criticizing him for acting as if he really didnt lose. He and his trainer refuse to admit that Tim lost that fight when it was clear as day that he did.
just need to go ahead and drop to 140 and say to hell with 147...it is too many DIVAS at 147, at least at 140 he could fight Mike Alvarado and/or Brandon Rios
not sure a Mattysse or a Garcia fight is available since he is with Top Rank
he got $5 Million for Pacquiao fight but I think signing with Top Rank was a mistake...I always asked after he fights Pacquiao...THEN WHAT? Because Top Rank really don't have many Top fighters at 147 that is why they keep recycling fights for Pacquiao
I like Brad Solomon, I think Bradley vs Brad Solomon would be a damn good fight but nobody knows who Solomon is at the moment
And NO I don't think Bradley should admit defeat...that is just stupid, nobody has ever done that before and nobody has pressured other fighters to admit defeat...you can't change things for Pacquiao...he is not the first fighter to get ROBBED and he certainly what be the LAST...when will Pacquiao admit Defeat against JMM? (BUT THE FIGHT WAS CLOSE BLAH BLAH BLAH will be the same fukin reply)
he admitted it in the postfight interview
he said right there he has to rewatch the fight
his trainer admitted it too
"Tim didn't get KO'd, that's a victory to me"
"don't blame us, blame the judges, they're the ones who gave it to us"
they know Tim got murked
youre a whore...
I tend to agree with the op. Bradley, through his comments, is inherently setting Pacquiao above himself as a fighter. Not something a proud champion that knew he was better would do.
Exactly. Once again, Bradley showing that he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Like when he said "what if I lose to Khan?" on the radio. SMH
^^^^^ one of the biggest myths in boxing. If you fel PAC won .... Fine. But not even close is what I can't live with. You tell me how u could've scored rounds 1,10,11,12 for anyone other than Bradley and why....
Also rounds 9 2 and 6 were very close could've gone either way
I think Bradley lost to Pacquiao and it was not even a close fight. Everything I have read says the vast majority of fans and experts think Pacquiao won by a large amount. Bradley and his team have always said that Bradley won and would have KOed Pacquiao if not for Bradley's two "broke" feet. I voted that Bradley did not indirectly say he lost to Pacquiao. I think that is a big stretch. He may know in his heart that he lost to Pacquiao or he may truely believe he deserved the win. I can't read his mind. I am certain he will always say he deserved his win over Pacquiao. Bradley says he is willing to fight Garcia, Matthysse, or Rios at 140 or the Berto-Guerrero winner at 147. Good for him. I like all of those fights. Arum should try to get him one of those fights in spite of the promoter feud.I can understand him turning down fights with Peterson and Alvarado because beating either of them does nothing to raise his stock as a fighter. He would already be expected to easily beat them so a win over them gains him nothing.
Thats not an indirect admission. He's simply implying that Pacquiao is a beast and Rios may need to go through tougher fighters before he's ready for Pacquiao.
he admitted it in the postfight interview
he said right there he has to rewatch the fight
his trainer admitted it too
"Tim didn't get KO'd, that's a victory to me"
"don't blame us, blame the judges, they're the ones who gave it to us"
they know Tim got murked
more like he respects pac as a fighter. he's been with pac in the ring so he knows what quality of a fighter pac is. a past prime, half-dedicated pac was still able to beat him (in the eyes of majority).
Can't seem to find the fight, Timothy Bradley lost in....Was that Pacquiao belt he wearing there?

I can still see Bradley jogging and pounding his chest..."You ain't the best, I'm the best". You have to prove to me that you're better then me!
Come fight night he got a pounding from PAC and ran like a b!t(h :lol1:.
Bradley knows according to his own admission before fighting Pac he didnt beat Pac.
He said to beat Pac he has to take the fight to Pac, which JMM didnt do. He said to get a decision he has to attack, attack and attack some more. He did exactly the opposite.
So Bradley dug his own hole.
I tend to agree with the op. Bradley, through his comments, is inherently setting Pacquiao above himself as a fighter. Not something a proud champion that knew he was better would do.
well if memory serves I had it 11 rounds to 1 for pac in a pretty boring fight with paid off judges. I don't think it merits a rematch and I don't think too many other people are interested in paying for one either.
