I have to say that I am impressed with the way Kirkland came off the canvass to finish a tough, hard hitting guy like Angulo.
He did make a big step tonight. Let's see who is next and how that turns out.
I think Cotto and Canelo both beat him, but I bet on El perro so WTF do I know.
floyd f@gs talkin about other men's money again
i wish i could put all of you on an island and nuke it
It's like they all just woke up and decided to post their rediculous opinions.
I'm not into it as much. Alfonso is really a welter fighting above his weight.
I am exited to see Canelo, but I think he will outclass Gomez similar to how Cotto did.
I belive that the result will be that Floyd will win reguardless of who the third man in the ring is.
I'm not a Cortez fan. He may end up breaking them apart alot/early and take away from Ortiz' inside game. I think that Ortiz has to try and bully Floyd and Cortez won't allow it. Similar to the Hatton fight.
I'll be rooting for Ortiz
I think that 150 is his walking around weight. He doesn't have to cut much and doesn't blow up. He weighed in at 150 for the ODH fight. He's never been considered a big welter.
i wouldn't be surprised to see May fight Martinez at 154 or Khan at 147
Did the ref say ''stop boxing''?
Sounded like he said stop boxing
The ref clearly said stop punching, then watched Floyd continue punching. The ref should have restarted them after saying 'stop punching'
Mikey Garcia should step up the level of competition soon. I hope his brother feels he's ready now to face one of the titlists. As a NABF champ, he's also entitled to it. What did you think of his last fight btw?
He said that he would fight any title holder at 126. Whichever one takes the challenge.
Cotto's at 154 but I think he could make 147 for the right reason. I doubt that Paulie is that reason.
I don't think that Paulie is going to do much if any damage at WW.
So what's the big deal about him fighting Sergio at 154? Trinadad was successful all the way up to 160. Pac is knocking out welterweights in more devastating than Felix, yet you're trying to tell me 154 is too much? And I'm not even saying he NEEDS to fight Sergio. Just enough with the ridiculous EXCUSES some of you make. It's simple, you DON'T want Pac to fight Sergio because of his style & movement. Point blank period.
He's only stopped 2 people over 140 (ODH and Cotto) and neither of those was a KO.
However I would love to see a Pac/Martinez fight at 154.
He's breaking orbital bones, having fighters say they've NEVER felt that type of power, making the ref stop fights, and having fighters quit on their stool. Sounds pretty devastating to me. Or is it that you know it's TAINTED devastation? Hmmmmmm
He's dominating for sure. Tito can punch.

@154
I like the route he took. Fighting the bigger guys says something to me. Maybe now we can see Ortiz/Pac at 147.
Also, I think he would have beat up all the guys at 140.
I'm interested in seeing Pavlik fight for sure. It's been a whlie. He's got 5 new tats since I saw him last.
I think if he didn't gas late in the Serg fight, He would have won or even stopped him.
Floyd's defensive skills will be too much for Victor. Ortiz isn't exactly hard to hit either.
I still see Victor as a live fighter though. He hits hard so if he can manage to tag Floyd......who knows.
Floyd comming back is good for the sport. Look what happened on this forum. People are talking. This will bring alot of hype and everyone will be calling for Pac/May like crazy this fall.
Ortiz is a live opponent. I don't think he can handle Floyd's skills, but I will be rooting for Victor.
Quite frankly I think Ortiz will probably land a good punch here and there. I think he is a bit slow. I think its the best fight out there for Floyd though/
I can't believe Pac got a pass for fighting Mosely yet Pac fans are mad about this fight. That's laughable.
This guy is coming of a KO win. Manny hasn't fought a guy coming off a KO win in ages.
It's the best fight out there at 147 other than Manny. Vic is comming off his best performance ever (though not a KO) and I think has a bit better than a punchers chance.
It is definatly a "dangerous" tune up.
