That's not light. That's Floyd's fight night weight, for every fight at WW tracked by HBO on fight night. The idiots who say he was 160 against Marquez, and weighed more than Mosley on fight night, or only kidding themselves. Before last night, 2006 was the last time Floyd unofficially weighed in for HBO. He was 149. There was no unofficial weights from De La Hoya to Mosley/ People speculated that the reason was because he now comes in at nearly 160. Fast forward 5 years, he unofficially weighed himself for HBO for the first time since the Baldomir fight...he's 150lbs. One pound more than his last unofficial weight 5 years ago. He's the strangest boxer if he can actually weigh in 149 one year, then balloon up to 160 for 4 years straight on fight nights, then at the age of 34 come back down to rehydrating only 3lbs. Some boxing fans are so dumb.

He avoided it like the plague when he fought Marquez cuz we all know he put on at least 10 pounds that fight. He came in light because his plan was to start running in the later rounds. Hes lucky that Ortiz is naive and Cortez gave him a fast count.

I think that 150 is his walking around weight. He doesn't have to cut much and doesn't blow up. He weighed in at 150 for the ODH fight. He's never been considered a big welter. i wouldn't be surprised to see May fight Martinez at 154 or Khan at 147

He has never gained more than 4lbs in any fight on the official weigh in from 130 on up. He's a small guy, get used to it. He was 149 against baldimors 162 as well
