I don't understand why the so called boxing fans hate Haymon but none of the fighters ever say anything but great things about him. Crazy Canelo did not look good last night. He was fighting against a fighter that is either shot or was just in their for a payday cause Cintron showed no heart and wanted the fight stopped from the beginning! I didn't like Chavez jr., but he did show a lot of improvement in his last fight even though Manfredo isn't an "A" list fighter at least he came to fight against Chavez and Chavez was still very impressive imo!At this point I think Chavez jr. beats Alvarez by KO or UD! Chavez Jr. needs a lot of time and room to operate, he is hardly ever comfortable unless he has his room, he's like Carl Froch in that sense expect a lot worse. Canelo on the other hand doesn't have to resort to that, he can counter from any distance/ angle. Besides Canelo's patience and minor stamina issues, he looked good last night. They also seem to forget that Manny wasn't the fighter he is today 10 years ago and got ko'd by a scrub 3yrs before that! If you saw Chavez jr.'s last fight you would see his boxing skills are a lot better then what they were and he takes a better punch then what Canelo takes. Remember Canelo was rocked by a welterweight scrub so I don't think he would take Chavez's punch too good! IMO Chavez is improving at a better pace then Canelo plus they both have guys in there own weight classes to keep themselves busy!I still think Canelo whoops Chavez Jr. I know Canelo is very vulnerable, but Chavez ain't good enough to do anything about it, Cotto would destroy him. HBO vs Showtime I like how the fights look on HBO netter then on Showtime but I actually like the announcers better on Showtime! I hate Lampley and Merchant. Watching the fight again I was surprised how victor was holding his own in there. Watching the 3rd and fourth round again. Wow got surprised how competitive Victor was. He was throwing bombs and pushing Floyd. I can see Floyd hurt in some occasions. I can swear victor landed some pretty good bombs and some nice combos. In the fourth Floyd had to shake his head to show he wasn't hurt but we know darn well when a fighter does that means he got hurt bad. Hype job Im a boxing fan and I like both Pac and Floyd, but if that fight isn't happening then other fights can be made for Pac instead of Tim bradley!
