Jose Lius Castillo beat Floyd the first fight, but got robbed. Have people forgotten about this.
LOL yeah we all remeber but wtf are we supposed to talk about it every f.ucking day. At least he immediatly rematched him and won in convincing fashion. and only reason JLC won the first fight was floyd had a hurt shoulder
Missing the face, hitting arms and on the break doesn't mean you won the fight
Same thing happened in the rematch, same outcome
Plz I hope you're not comparing to Pac/JMM
But... he was the aggressor! (Sarcasm)
Here it is for you idiots! Mayweather won this fight clean and clear. Mayweather landed clean effective punches, and he controlled the fight. Costillio was hitting on the break and low blowing the whole fight. Also Mayweather was the little guy moving up andf guess what there was no catch weights. lol
I remember Mayweather giving him an immediate rematch and beating him decisively. Out of all the controversial decisions you've seen how many times has the winner granted an immediate rematch only to win decisively?
Weelllll Pac had controversial wins over JMM and he gave 3 goes and robbed him in only 2 of them , it took 10 yrs and a bunch of bullsh!t in between but at least after the latest robbery he wants to give him another go now thats got be fair dont it lol ,
Got to hand it to Pac he learned from the best boxing dairy in the business .

You know if really watched both of Floyd's fights vs Castillo and knew what you were talking about...True boxing knowledge would have showed you that the 2nd fight was MUCH closer and you could argue the fact Floyd lost that fight...
Real Talk!

well it was either rematch castillo or fight slick southpaw stevie johnston so it's not like he had any easy options. i guess he could have faked a retirement but he hadn't thought of that tactic back then.
was he "money" mayweather yet??? thats probably why they dont remember
i think he was still pretty boy.
pretty boy >>>>> money
pretty boy wasn't a ***** like money is.
Of course we remember this fight...it's reminded here every year with 15-20 threads a year. It was more than 10 years ago...yet when Pacquiao-Singsurat is brought up, which happened around the same time give or take a year..."That was a long time ago who cares?".
shut up , crybaby.
:bottle::bottle::bottle:

Good Reply!
Good post!! People don't seem to realize how long ago that was and how boxers get better with experience! They also seem to forget that Manny wasn't the fighter he is today 10 years ago and got ko'd by a scrub 3yrs before that! By the way Floyd won both those Castillo fights imo and i guess in the judges opinions too!Yeah all of Floyd's haters bring up the first Castillo fight whenever they want to win an argument. But what you guys seem to forget was that fight was nearly ten years ago. Also Floyd came into the ring with an injury and easily won the immediate rematch. I suppose you're bringing this up because Pacquiao had an off night two weeks ago, at least thats what his supporters are saying. But I don't think Pacquiao had an off night because if that was true he had an off night every time he fought Marquez. Just face it, Marquez is a better boxer than Pac. He may not be a better athlete than Pac but he's definitely the better boxer. We can not say the same thing about Castillo.
floyd was stepping up a division and fighting the best guy at the division right away, pac has not fought the best guy in the last 4 divisions he has won world titles at. Floyd was injured and fought a bad fight....but got a close decision. Now please go find me a bunch of pro boxers and most of the media saying they thought castillo won and that it was a robbery.

Exactly. Castillo and his crew wanted to prove Floyd won by a fluke.
Rather than taking a tune-up fight, requesting time to think about it, putting up barriers to avoid another tough fight, hiding behind his promoter, and asking for a catchweight, Floyd just said: "Done. When do you want it?"
Harald Lendermann giving Castillo the a 10-8 round instead of a 9-9 in round 8 or 9(don't remember exactly which round) after Floyd had dominated 2 min of the round before the point penalty. Castillo landed 3 left hooks in the last 30 sec and Lendermann gave him the round 10-8 :nonono:.
Also Mayweather won the first 4 rounds and the 10th and 11th if I remembered right.
Had floyd by 1-2 round.
Close fight but a Floyd win
Pac vs JMm is a robbery, not Floyd vs Castillo
Retarded Pactards calling it the worst robbery in history..............
JLC gave away early rounds and you need to give all the late rounds for him to win the fight plus he wasnt really connecting he was just out working Floyd I actually thought Floyd won 8-4

I remember, then Floyd set the record straight by putting on a dominating performance in the rematch.
Not even Castillo argued with the outcome of the rematch. He knew who the best was then without a doubt.
