Almost a year ago people were criticizing Pac for not fighting "young, prime undefeated fighters". You have Bradley who is a "young, prime undefeated fighter" so he wouldn't be classified as a "washed up, past prime, drained Mayweather leftover." So now that Bradley, the guy people say that Pac is apparently ducking, is in line for a fight he's now considered a bad opponent? You people are so f#cking hypocritical and it's apparent that no matter who Pac fights he won't be getting any credit.
We don't even know if this fight is gonna happen next year since nothing has been signed but I'm willing to bet that it's merely a back up plan. I, like most of you, WANT the Pac-May fight to happen ASAP but if that fight doesn't materialize I wouldn't mind Tim Bradley as a possible opponent.
i was talkin about the Sturm gift...i dont even rate the Mayorga win as anything..
so basically you guys are in agreement that DLH was a bigger threat than either Cotto or Margarito?
margarito yes, cotto i don't know.most people thought oscar beat shane so if you are going to count the sturm fight as a lost you should count the shane fight as a win. u can argue that oscar was also a bigger threat than cotto bein that cotto had yet to have a big fight, when floyd and oscar fought miguel had yet to fight juadh or mosley
Fine opponent.
But the way he's earning his shot is BS.
Casamayor.
Got no problem with this post. Casamayor is a crap opponent, but by the same token, Bradley paid his dues. He was the undisputed #1 ranked guy in his division and went up to 147 to dominate a previously unbeaten fighter before his promotional/legal issues. Casa is just a tune up/showcase, nothing more. Same thing with Likar Ramos for JMM.
So a Bradley fight would kill a few birds with one stone- Pacquiao doesn't fight African American fighters (Check). Pacquiao doesn't fight young, hungry fighters (Check). Pacquiao doesn't fight undefeated fighters, only damaged goods and leftovers (Check). Plus Tim is a top 10 lb 4 lb fighter (#6 last time I checked).
Haters are fast running out of ways to hate. Pretty soon it'll be- when will Pacquiao finally fight an awkward one-legged Eskimo American with 4 losses? :grr:
You can't get one undefeated top 10 lb 4 lb American to see you in the ring, go for the other undefeated (younger) top 10 lb 4 lb American who actually wants to fight you.
the part time fighter who arguably lost his last 3 fights going into the Floyd fight?
ummm...yea
dont go there bro
i know floyd f@gs like to back each other up but be different...pick battles you can win
people thought oscar lost to mayorga? when floyd fought oscar margarito had yet to have a significant win while everybody and their mother knew who oscar delahoya was and was coming off of a knockout win even to this day margarito has 1 great win and that win is tainted in most peoples eyes

I don't think his win against Mayorga was much to argue about.
How?..who has he beat?..what divisions has he dominated? Has he ever been on the P4P list?..
I guess it looks like he might be a better all around fighter but we dont know....you call headbutting skills? dude has a 39% KO ratio....
:blackeye:
bradley is ranked #7 p4p by ring magazine.
i don't see how anyone can complain about him fighting bradley. If it's clear and proven that hes ducking floyd, then fine, be mad.
But out of the candidates, Bradley seem to be the best outside of martinez and mayweather. Hes not a worse opponent than ortiz in my eyes, and certainly 10x as credible a matchup as JMM, Mosley or Margarito.
i have no problems with a pacquiao bradley match but team pac and his fans seem to talk alot about mayweather but it seems as if the last 4 opponents were already set for a match with pacquiao before pacquiao faced his upcoming opponent
oh snap...isn't your rookie making his debut this week? the kid from Auburn? Fairley?
No don't think so, we have like zero pressure to rush him back. Heck I might even try him at DE but we aren't hurting there either.
i'm a big fan of Megatron :headbang:
and i really wanna see Suh pancake Romo...that's all i wanna see
that Pats game has me worried tho...they rarely have 2 bad weeks...but it's in Oakland and the way D-MAC is running, hopefully we can administer some serious ball control and keep Brady off the field
that Pats D has holes that can be exploited...one thing tho, if the Raiders pull this off, we're not flying under ANYone's radar anymore
I don't know if it will be Suh probably though but Romo is in for a long day. I don't even know how you defend against Calvin Johnson unless they find some NBA player that wants a paycheck, it would be worth a shot because no way a 5'10" corner and 6' safety are really stopping him from getting the ball.
Yea it is tough to see the Pats losing two weeks in a row but they have like no defense, Tom Brady though after throwing 4 INTs that sucks having to play him after that. It might be down to who has the ball last.
This is such total BS by the haters. There's not a single fighter that Pac could fight after JMM where people wouldn't repeat the same BS they always do and say he was ducking Bradley, a young undefeated top p4p African American fighter.
The amount of *****ing that would be on here if he fought Ortiz or Berto would be unbelievable.
On the p4p list the only one above Bradley who can fight in Pac's weight class is PBF. (And we all know PBF is not going to try to make that fight happen.)
As for fighting at 140 that would probably be to Pac's advantage. He will weigh 148 fight night if the fight's at 140 or 147. It's Bradley that would be able to put on more weight and not have to drain as much.
i skimmed thru the entire schedule this weekend and only 2 games of interest popped up as 'must sees' for me;
Pats at Raiders (for obvious reasons)
and
Lions at Dallas
sign of times when i'm lookin forward to seeing the Lions play :lol1:
Yea we are on national TV this week, I don't remember the last national Sunday game we have had but everyone has seemingly caught Lions fever. Amazing how quickly after Millen we were bale to turn it around, at least Millen was good enough to get us Calvin although you would literally have to be blind to not like Calvin Johnson even Al Davis would have draft Calvin.
If there was one team I wouldn't want to see with a QB with hurt ribs and a shaky o-line its the Lions, especially with a lame receivers who will have a hard time exploiting our real weakness on defense.
I don't think the Pats can stop McFadden.
Pacquiao fighting Bradley is on the same level as Mayweather fighting Ortiz
both fighting younger fighters IN THEIR PRIME...but Bradley will need a BIG WELTERWEIGHT WIN to make people interested in a fight against him vs Pacquiao, maybe a win against Mike Jones or Andre Berto someone like that
Exactly like I said, TR dont want to do that though cause he'll lose
Makavelli, you still ignored my comment if May decided to fight Bradley you would be saying the same thing I'm saying now
Thats a fact
Bradley will need a BIG WELTERWEIGHT WIN to make people interested in a fight against him vs Pacquiao, maybe a win against Mike Jones or Andre Berto someone like that
that's all there is to it nobody is calling Bradley a bum get in their with a ranked WW a show us what you could do at 147
I'm sorry but getting a boring decision vs Abregu didn't do it for me
good vid not alot more to be said, i reckon the fight will be next though its all about timing ain't it, neither got long left and they all know this is going to be possibly the highest earning fight of all time, just to much politics but Bradley wont be next but he will fight Pac a few fights down the line, Bradley aint even stepped up to WW yet, and is Arum realy gona let his new future Champ get owned by a prime Pac
you wanna talk about the Lions, Gamb?
this is probably one of our stupidest exchanges...i dont wanna dissect b-level fighters anymore
Haha, I was thinking about this the other night I will dissect a fight between two bums just to form an opinion so I can watch them fight just so I can see if I am right or wrong about the fight. it helps me not care about what fights happen also because I always need to find out if I am right or wrong, sad how much of a boxing junkie I am.
The Lions I knew last year we had turned the corner, once Suh proved he was the truth because if there was ever one man I would want to pull me out of a bottomless abyss it would be Ndamukong Suh. It should be fun to wreck the Cowboys, although I feel bad for Tony Romo I think they should just let him take this week off. It is a good time in the D with the Lion and Tigers both looking good.

gamb, they're both sh1t...that's my point
you're just tryin to argue which sh1t looks a lil better
There are different types of shit.
I just don't find them that close. One is David Estrada level the other is a low end world class guy.
I guess if you want to be real black and white sure, if you are looking for an A sure it is disappointing to get a B- but that is still better than a C.
Only reason I brought Estrada up is I figured no one else would, just remember watching the fight and thinking wow this is great but this guy is a journeyman at best if he is going life and death with Estrada unless he is like a bunch of other Argentine fighter who get much better in their 30's.
