Duran's legacy still surpass Pacquiao's......Duran is no doubt the best lightweight ever.....his win over Leonard cemented his ATG status although his loses to Hearns and Hagler, although bigger men is notable. one thing I hate about Duran: he showed he lacked heart when he quit in his rematch with Leonard and it will forever be a part of his legacy
Duran is top 10 all time....Pacquiao aint even top 20. End of Story.
Pac would have to wreck havoc at 140 and 147 for me to put him almost as high as Duran.
Duran's first ever pro fight was at super bantamweight....He ruled the lightweight division which is 3 division above super bantamweight.....
Pac's first ever pro fight was at Junior Flyweight.......3 divisions above junior flyweight is Bantamweight (118 lbs)
why would you like Pac to wreck havoc at 140 and 147 which is 8 and 9 divisions above jr flyweight?
anyways, you dont need to answer my question.....you are clearly biased against Pac
Sadly, I'll admit...I said Mayweather would K.O Pavlik. Still I was a bit new to the sport. At the time, I felt Mayweather was too quick and accurate NOW...instead of K.O, I'm confident he would U.D or S.D Pavlik
this statement.....
:wtf:
thats because Williams was OUTLANDED overall.... get the facts straight
The HBO crew likes to talk about the guy who throws more punches wins a close fight. I'll use Williams-Lara as an example, who HBO crew UNANIMOUSLY agreed Lara was robbed EVEN though Williams threw way more punches and the total punches landed were close
Total Punches Thrown
Williams - 1047
Lara - 530
Pacqauio - 578
Marquez - 436
Williams like Pacquiao moved forward most of that fight yet in the Williams fight. HBO UNANIMOUSLY agreed the fighter in Williams-Lara who back peddled more and threw less punches outboxing the other won...yet in the Pac-JMM 3 fight they contradict their selves says the fighter who throws more punches in a close fight should win....
WTF
mayweather sr already confirmed the $100Million....
if Arum is lying, why isnt there any from Mayweather's side denying the incident?
on second thought, mayweather's side DENIED the 2nd negotiation which Ross Greenburg confirmed...
bunch of idiots....
Being a crackhead might be 1000x of an accomplishment in your ghetto community....NOT in ours, its something to be ashamed of
You guys love to say how "on crack" Floyd, Sr is. What does it say about Manny's father that Big Floyd accomplished about 1000x what Daddy Pac did?
Yeah, a Pinoy Crab that is....
I didnt like the Floyd-JMM fight with all their dramas but i still watched it.....
Whitaker and Chavez, Trinidad and Jones fought at catchweights, so whats new?
I am a pac fan.. (pinoy ako pwera biro..)
But still believe Floyd is scared of Pac..:boxing:
Last week, i bought my wife a $3,500 LV bag and drove all the way to king of prussia, PA just to get it because it was limited edition....
nobody "needs" $6,000 worth of clothes to be sure but husbands express their love for their spouse in a variety of ways, one of which is to shower the wife with material things....
BTW, Jin is full of ****. She wants those things, she doesn't need them. Who the **** needs 6000 dollars a month in clothes. Make this dumb hoe shop at kmart.
i thought Kobe's wife was half black to be honest......
Maybe both. When he met her, she was still underage at 17 while Kobe was 21.
They married on April 18, 2001, at St. Edward Roman Catholic Church in Dana Point, California. Neither Bryant's parents, his two sisters, longtime advisor and agent Arn Tellem, nor Bryant's Laker teammates attended. Bryant's parents were opposed to the marriage for a number of reasons. Reportedly Bryant's parents had problems with him marrying so young, especially to a woman who was not African-American. This disagreement resulted in an estrangement period of over two years, which ended when Bryant had his first daughter.

YOU always hold the fighter accountable?
since when did you actually promoted a fight?
I always hold the fighter accountable, Arum couldn't move unless Pacquiao moved. Like I said before, Top Rank would always choose to make money as oppose to not making any, so if Pacquiao told Arum "I want winner of Bradley vs. Alexander/ or Martinez...THATS IT) Arum would have to give him that. Pacquiao is Arum's boss.
even if Pac agrees but Floyd gets convicted, we still would not have a fight.....
Floyd should stop hitting women first, then stop using the internet for his racist tirade, then stop poking security guards and finally stop trying to run off people from the road....
oh sh*t, i forgot about the other Mayweather who is also going to prison :chairshot
i dont think this fight will actually happen...thank God Pac does not need Floyd
Manny needs to agree to take the test with no cut offs, that solves ALL of this.
yup, Pac sure is a B+ fighter.....oh why not make him a C- fighter?
why not make Floyd a A+++++++++++ fighter?
the bottomline is this: Pac IS the Fighter of the Decade and a 3x Ring Mag Fighter of the Year...
:notworthy
I would love it so much. But unfortunately, with Pacquiao's skills, it doesn't need to take Mayweather to beat him. Any other A class fighter with good youth, handspeed, and an ounce of defense beats Pacquiao. Floyd is an A+++ fighter, Pacquiao is a B+ fighter beating on B and C class fighters.
hahahahaha.....its a conspiracy brother....
Ellerbe:there was NO negotiation
Arum and HBO Pres Greenburg: there was a negotiation
:nana:
Yes, HBO just put down a fake weight for Pac so the public would think he's some kind of little midget beating up bigger men.
The reality is that Pac even outweighed Margarito on fight night. Although I hear that it was only by 2 or 3 pounds.
Kinda devalues Pac's achievements, huh?
you sure about this? all your points to mine if the fight is made?
I would have him come in at 135. He'll then rehydrate to about 145.
Pac will come in at 144 and rehydrate to about 147-8.
The weight won't make a difference, the skills of marquez will win him the fight again.
