Manny Piñol, the Filipino journalist who sent a death threat to Donaire ("bullet is faster than the punch") after Nonito made war with the media, is a close friend of Manny Pacquiao.
In his latest article, he looked the recent Pacquiao video watching the Martinez fight. Pinol analyzed Pacquiao's body language and concluded that Pacquiao will indeed accept Sergio's challenge.

It is because you have to have a glimpse into Manny Pacquiao's personality to understand and interpret his body language and his reaction to the Martinez dare after his win over Dzinziruk.
That wry smile, which looked like a smirk, and the timid "Ok" when asked of his reaction to Martinez's demolition of Dzinziruk showed a Manny Pacquiao already fed up with the public dare and challenge being put up by the Argentinian champion and his handlers, especially promoter Lou DiBella.
He and his group intently watched the ending of the fight and comments like "mabagal" (slow) and "hindi naman malakas, malaki lang" (he is not really that strong, he is just big) were heard.
I interpreted that to mean that Manny Pacquiao was already studying Martinez's fighting style, strengths and weaknesses.
But the most revealing part of the video was when Manny Pacquiao asked those around him, including younger brother Bobby: "Anong timbang paglalabanan namin?" (At what weight would we fight?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk_-Z5Qe-QE&feature=player_embedded.
Hearing that, I made the conclusion: Manny Pacquiao will fight Sergio Martinez. He will take the dare. I smell a fight.
And Sergio Martinez better be prepared.
Wrath has no equal than a Manny Pacquiao dared.
Marquez's chin? Floyd's reflexes & ability to adjust/smarts? Morales' ability to take risks and switch fighting stance? Margarito's toughness/chin? Do you consider these techniques??
that clown kirby thinks technique is all you need to be a great fighter or considered to be elite.
i told him to look at judah, malignaggi, ortiz, devon, etc :lol1:
I hope he does.. someone has to do it. http://www.individualsole.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/ea-sports-x-mighty-healthy-x-gamestop-fight-night-t-shirt-1-470x540.jpg
That's a clean ass shirt!
Kirby;10250417']The Fuck are you talking about? Just stop. You're one of the dumbest Pactards I've ever seen. I don't even have to respond to your comment. It speaks for itself, but out of the goodness of my heart, please stop. You're embarrassing your "group".
Do you consider technique to be some kind of object or something?

if he did this statement might actually be true.
and i know that you'll be the first person to call martinez a weight drained a bum or pac is on peds, i'm 100% sure of it.

and the likes of jmm and em wouldn't be called ELITE if the only thing they bring to the table are their techniques. ortiz, alexander, judah and a lot more have all good techniques, maybe better than manny's, and as you consider yourself a boxing fan, you should know what's missing right? :lol1:

Kirby;10250171']Lol, you're a typical Pactard. I don't praise Floyd calling him the best of all time. Hell I rank Pacquiao HIGHER than I rank Floyd on my list. Yet to you, I'm a "hypocrite" who praises Floyd. Yeah right.
@also at the bold. I lol'd. So what exactly did JMM and EM use when they fought Pacquiao? Did they use the ring magazine rankings page as a weapon? Now I know why Manny got cut in both of those fights. Damn papercuts.
yeah so you and the rest of the boxing world have pac over floyd, so whats new

If Martinez can weigh 150lbs or less Pacquiao will fight him. Pacquiao alreadt reach his limit. FYI Pacquiao is small at Welterweight division. The Last time Pacquiao fought he only weigh 144lbs!
http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/4243/pacquiaoweightvsopposit.jpg
True. Welterweights usually rehydrate to mid 150s, some cases even 160.
Pac has been giving up alot of weight in his last few fights. His fighting weight is actually less than many Jr Welterweights.
People calling for him to fight at middleweight are being ridiculous. He's truly maxxed out at welter.
If he packs on the lbs to get up to 160 he'd be bloated and it will likely diminish the attributes that make him such a great fighter - speed, movement, stamina... it would be a walk in the park for Martinez
154 is probably still too much of a stretch. Pac will be giving away 8-10lbs at the weigh-in if he is to come in at his optimum weight which is 144/45 and would be outweighed by a likely 20lbs in the fight.
That's too much of an advantage to give away to Martinez. Think about it, besides heavyweights, when has any fighter given away that much weight advantage against a fellow p4p fighter?
A 150-152 catchweight is the fairest weigh to go. Martinez will be a little drained, and Pac will still be giving away a good 6/7lbs and still 15-20lbs on fight night. If Martinez has the skill to beat Pac, then not being as strong as he would be shouldn't make a difference, it just ensures he won't be able to overwhelm him.
There is no way the fight happens at 154... he wouldn't even fight Marg at 154 (understandable). The fight won't happen, if he does it will be at some catch weight(sigh) like 150-151. If the fight happens at 154, Manny deserves a medal.
LOL at the hypocrisy, got an excuse for every opponent for pac while none for the same against floyd :lol1:
and you think PAC had problems w/ JMM and EM just because of technique? JMM and EM are one of, if not THE BEST 126-135 fighters in this generation. you think the great MAB lost to JMM or EM just because of technique?
you wouldnt be surprised if pac beats sergio, but you'd be praising floyd as the GOAT if he did right? you really are a fukkin clown :lol1:

Kirby;10250132']No they wouldn't. Styles make fights you imbecile. If a guy like Margarito fought Floyd, Floyd would have major problems with him because Margarito is a relentless pressure fighter and Floyd won't be able to knock him out.
Hatton - Come forward, easy to counter.
Cotto - Doesn't do well against Pressure fighters period.
Clottey - Punching bag.
Margarito - Flat footed, slow, and easy to hit.
Mosley - Flat footed, and no defense.
Why do you think Pacquiao had problems with Marquez and Morales the first fight? Here's the keyword, "Techinque". :poke:
Pacquiao has been very properly matched, which is why I'd give him respect if he fought Martinez, but at the sametime I wouldn't be surprised if Pacquiao beat him. Martinez isn't as technical as people think. He gets hit fairly easily.

fukkin clown :lol1:
first risky fight in years? lol at this moron. who among the LWs and JWWs you morons keep wanting pac to fight that can hang w/ cotto, clottey, margarito and mosley? or who among WWs? maybe berto? but that's still 50-50. WHO ELSE?
and when pac faced hatton, all these JWWs now havent proved sh1t yet back then, most of them were still prospects and no one even knew much about them.
do you know who were the top WW when pac jumped up in weight? cotto, clottey, margarito, mosley and the one on vacation :lol1:
Everyone of those fights were tailor made for Pacquiao.
