We have a guy you idiots are calling an all time great hw without even 10 fights in the division, was getting his azz beat and outboxed by a KICKBOXER, with no amateur boxing experience and 1 fight, through 10 rounds. But yeah, we are "too harsh" towards Usyk. lol
I don’t want any of you to ever compare Fury to the all time great HWs. He was walked down, stapled and beat up by a smaller man without a knockout punch.
Great card, but far from most stacked ever. Don king regularly had cards like this in the 90s. Julian Jackson spent his career as an undercard fighter. Today, he’d be a ppv superstar.
Tank basically called a timeout DURING A FIGHT and his fans are saying today it's allowed. Tank fans online are pulling up some bs rules that never existed saying that fighters are allowed to take a knee to reset without being counted as a knockdown.
Boots is a knockout waiting to happen. That’s why he hasn’t fought anyone in almost a decade. His style is dangerous and makes him a candidate for brain damage in the future.
the main thing I didn't like about this fight is that Boots was hitting in the back of the head and hitting low, but Dock was quick to take a point for holding
it's amazing how fans of boxers today figthing once and twice a year to bullsh*t inferior competition, call a man with over about 200 fights overrated. The same fighter that fought almost 10 fights during a year in his 40s. . That sh*t isn't making any sense whatsoever to me. Boxers back in the day fought a LOT. There was no turning pro and getting a title shot from one of the 8 belts within 17 weight classes. ONE belt, with limited weight classes. In many cases, you have to have damn near 40 fights before even considered for a title shot. When people don't know shit about the history of something they are trying to discuss, it shows..
I love inoue. He’s one of my favorites. I’d like for him to lose one before he gets to 35 fights to ensure he doesn’t want to protect his “0” for retirement.
Peep byrd vs Jimmy Young. Byrd definitely has a chance if he doesn't stand in front of Foreman and take punches. Prime byrd was hard to hit flush. Ibeabuchie landed that hookercut because he threw a punch where he knew Byrd would be. I'd pick foreman, but Young did outpoint Foreman.
There was no 168 division, he would have had to jump from 160-175. Do you see the size of Hagler compared to todays MW's?

And they say Golovkin is small.
The thread starter is a result of what happens when someone just starts to watch boxing and repeats bs they hear others say without knowing the facts. Plus Hager fought in an era of same day weigh ins. So he was disciplined.
I agree with you, but people are stupid.
but it was Ok for duran a small LW with short arms to move up 25 lbs to fight hagler but hagler could not move up 15 lbs to LH
hold up, Duran jumped from lw to mw? damn that's news to me. I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. All this time I had it wrong.
Thx it was driving me nuts.He was a good fightrer quick and could hit.Bad carear dec and bad promoting kept him from being all he could be.And I still think he won a title if I remember.
yep. He knocked out my mans Julian Jackson on the Tyson/Mcneely undercard(that card was stacked. Joe HIpp/Seldon and Lamar Murphy/Gonzalez). Then Keith Holmes knocked out Taylor in a bad stoppage.
yes you are right he fought hagler weighing 135
ok thanks. cuz I could have swore he had fights at 47 and 54. I guess I was wrong. Thanks again for the correction
no robbery. I would have been fine with either guy winning a close fight. That word robbery is thrown around when the favorite fighter of someone loses. The REAL robbery almost occurred tonight if they would have gave Navaratte that decision for doing nothing.
The so called TBE went almost 10 rounds with a guy that was 0-0 in his pro debut. Don’t make this out to be mma guys are bums that can’t fight. A world class combat athlete could be decent in any combat form
but everyone says Jake Paul should stop fighting mma guys in circus shows and fight a "real boxer". But now you're saying the MMA guys are real competition. Can't have it both ways. Either they are good boxers or they aren't.
