Boots has been catching clean shots for a while, not just these last two fights either. Karen landed alot of clean shots and buckled Boots a few times. A heavy hitter might have different results.
Yep. I always found it suspect how someone so huge for the weight at 147 was still being fed blown up 140-pounders so far into his career.
I generally don't like the term weight-bully but I can't help but feel it does apply to Boots, as in when he moves up and fights men his own size he's suddenly going to lose a lot of his effectiveness because you can't get away with those same mistakes.
I hope he moves up to 154 soon so we can find out how good he truly is. It's probably the best division in boxing right now and prospective fights against the likes of Bohachuk and Ortiz are mouth-watering.
He’s been getting caught flush like that for his entire career. Perhaps he needs another second in his corner to teach him how to move his head more .
I say this because at this current pace that China of his is gonna crack soon. Once that happens he’ll never be the same fighter again.
I think Eddie has a pulse on this. Boots and his corner were too concerned with entertaining the fans. He put on a great show, but he got careless often and it showed. Fortunately, he has a great chin.
He got careless in quite a few fights then
Boots gets clowned and scalped at 154. He is exactly where he belongs: reigning over a division of Postmates drivers.
Props to Chukhadzhian. If only he had more pop.
Can’t wait to hear Breadman calling this a slaughter.
